Totally agree with all the Artem praise on this thread. He's a great addition to the pro line-up.
![]() The other thing is that he takes note of what the judges have said in the previous week. When Len had his hissy fit about their AS, he took it on the chin really calmly and, since then, has choreographed within the rules. Yes, Kara has had a stray foot lifting off the floor in both dances this week-end (didn't spot the rumba one, but I take people's word for it), but these were accidental, not choreographed lifts. It's a tricky job, choreographing a routine that will please all four judges AND wow the public, and Artem has, I think, got the balance just right. |

Artem has been brilliant. I was really doubtful about his inclusion on the show to start with, but so hope he comes back next year. He shows great integrity, really concentrating on the dance rather than gimmicks. On a personal level he has a very charming personality.

He's a superb choreographer and he's been lucky in having a lady who can dance the steps he creates. I would love to see him back next year and see what he can do with someone not quite so talented as Kara as I think he would still be exceptionally good.

Artem is the one new pro who has done a great job and is set to be very popular. In the first few dances Kara was dancing them easily, but then he started to push her to near her limit, but not over - good judgement there. His choreography is always stylish.
I'm not a fan of the new rules and as a result, sometimes I think Artem's choreography varies away from the intended dance. The VW did, the Rumba didn't - it always looks good though. |

I think Artem surpassed himself in the VW:

Artem has been very focused and professional but has not been afraid to push Kara to her limits.
Should definitely be back next year |

If they make the final, I think I'm going to spontaneously combust at their showdance.
![]() ![]() I just don't know where else he has to go, but I trust him to pull something truly moving out of the bag. I'm so excited, I'm almost bouncing in my chair. ![]()

Yes, Artem is superb. I love his dancing for a start, and his teaching is obviously excellent - his choreography has been really interesting and challenging but not too hard for Kara. He seems to have the Russian work ethic too, i.e. work damn hard and if you fall over get up and carry on. He proved that the week he injured his neck.
Them Russkies are tough! ![]() All in all, he's talented, professional, charming, intelligent and sexy.

Having watched their rhumba tonight on iplayer, I thought Artem did an amazing job overall, except he's sometimes a little 'naughty' adding lifts here and there though he knows it's not allowed (in the rhumba).
I grew to love Kara and really want her to win this series. Artem will do well NOT to overchoreograph the showdance and they will most likely going to clinch the glitter ball. Yeah!

Yeah! ![]() I like the slightly dangerous aspect to his choreography, it's what gives it the soul, I think. They have to dance on the edge and I would much rather that and they fail to get a 10 from Craig than they danced a safe dance and the passion and drama were missing.

Ahh Samba Pa Ti.
I used to dance a lot to that - honestly! It was the record they used to put on last at student discos (you know, the s-l-o-w one). Come to think of it, the sort of dance we used to do to this tune was very like a rumba... ![]()
