Two illegitimate kids and living off the state.

And the millionaires on the judging panel call her a role model?

She describes herself as a "mum".

Her only income must be state benefits, as she has no husband/partner and doesn't work.

Fab role model for young people eh? It sickens me that she is described as such. Yes, no doubt she has a tough time but a bit of contraception could have avoided most of it!

She's a role model as she's trying to better herself by learning from her previous mistakes. People made mistakes, and she did too.
Also, by looking at 2 performances from the guest stars --- isn't it refreshing she's doing what she loves and doesn't have to exploit her sexuality? Every week she sings -- no revealing clothings, no suggestive dancings and no slagging off any contestants.

She has been studying law and whatever happens, will provide an amazing future for her children. She has more class in her little finger than people like you

Oh do shut up your opinions are offensive and small-minded, all the money in the world couldn't buy you any decency could it?

She's a nice girl, but she isnt a role model.

Just seems a very PC thing to say, with no real reasoning behind it.

Not quite sure what she has done to be considered a role model, at all.

She's a role model in the sense that she shows you can overcome a lack of self-belief and some knocks in life to better yourself through hard work and talent.

BTW we don't use the word illegitimate to describe children nowadays whose parents are unmarried. All children are legitimate.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being illegitimate. My grandmother was an illegitimate child. Honestly, some people.

I always laughed at that word "illegitimate", which no longer has any meaning in law.

A baby is either here - or he's not here. There's no half way point!!
