What's happened to him??

I know he has been busy with EE but oh my god... both his efforts looked a bit half hearted. Such a shame cos he was brilliant

I agree. He showed so much promise in the beginning and he was my favourite from the start together with Kara, but I feel he has gone down since his rumba.

He looks exhausted and lacking energy whereas Matt is putting in more effort with every dance.

I agree also he is clearly over tired and looks a bit ill! such a shame that time off from EE wasnt an option for him. If he gets through tonight im hoping for a blazing final.

He has had a couple of bad weeks at the wrong time in the show.

I don't expect to see him in the final.

Poor Scott! Has anybody in the history of Strictly had such a backwards journey? He started off good, got better, became great (don't forget he got 39 for his VW, just like Kara), hit a blip with the rumba, came back like a storm with that fabulous jive and then....

...well, all a bit of nothing, really. Such a shame. He could have done all these so-so dances at the beginning, been popular enough to have got voted through each week and THEN hit us with the VW, the jive, the tango - all his good dances.

It just goes to show that so much of this competition goes on in the head. If he can't believe in himself, then neither will we. I really, really hope he makes it through to the final, because that potential is still there and I absolutely loved that jive, but I fear that backwards roll has an unstoppable momentum.

i do feel for him as he has had no break from EE. and at the moment he is filming alot because hes got a major storyline for new years, he just seems drained and i just wish i could give him a hug and a red bull!

As a huge fan, it was hard for me to watch Scott's dancing this weekend. He's so much better than that.

yeah, the hat and costume was a bad move.
He didn't look nice in it at all

They 3egged it up a bit before hand, but it just didn't look that good to me.

Also I think Natalie was very enthusiatic at the end, high fives and things, maybe to try to convince us it was better than it was.

Natalie was visibly shaking before the dance. She knew.

Yes it is a shame because when he is good he is great. I have just watched it again and yet again he looks like he can hardly remember what to do, especially at the beginning and there was not much bounce and swivel action of the foot, non at all for about three quarters of the dance. You almost get the impression he is wandering around looking for something to do whilst Natalie is dancing like a loon with the effect that for half of the time they did not look like a couple on the dance floor but two seperate dancers, only one of whom knew what to do.

After his lovely VW and Jive, I thought the Charleston was going to be his dance. I found it so lacking in energy, totally lacklustre.

He does look ill, no heart in it at all. Based on his weekend performances I don't think he deserves the final but I do feel for him.

I was totally underwhelmed by his Charleston, He seemed hesitant and Natalie looked to be leading him all through the dance as if he wasn't sure of what steps came next!...

Such a shame I thought after showing such promise......I couldnt believe his Charleston was danced by the same man who did that fantastic Jive.

His latin was never really good except the jive. He made a good impression with ballroom and then people wondered what had happened when his latin was not at the same level.

My favourite dance of Scott's is still 'Let's hear it for the boy' - was it a salsa or cha cha?
He was great - really bold, great musicality and great fun.

Of course, the jive was also great - but since then......

I think his charleston was actually overmarked last night - as everyone has said - he just looked like his heart wasn't in it.

Such a shame - what great potential that has gone to waste. I used to love seeing him and Matt go head to head - but I just can't get that image of him being dragged around by Natalie out of my head - and that was ballroom, not latin!

I've just been rewatching his dances, his waltz, tango, salsa, jive, VW, QS...all really reallllllly good. If only someone had thought to feed him a few pies and let him have some sleep

Hi drb x

I think Eastenders gave him last week off, but it was too litte too late. Scott's energy had been sufficiently sapped to prevent him firing on all cylinders again.

Hey Sid! <smooooch>

Well too little too bloody late EE, just like the plonkers at Hollyoaks last year

I'm hoping he'll pay a visit to his Docs once Strictly is over, although it's hard to see under all that fake tan I'm actually quite concerned for his health! A blood test or two might be in order. I'll volunteer my services to do the physical exam, I have a very gentle bedside manner!

I honestly think he is ill or has some personal problem

His dancing just went from hero to zero inside a week

I want to get angry with them too! But then, I suppose they have a job to do as well. By churning out so many episodes per week, the filming schedule must be relentless and they can only accomodate Scott so much.

He was brave to take on Strictly on top of Easties.

And he really hasn't looked well has he?

I still love the way he is so supportive of the others though, especially Matt.

Well I don't watch EE so I'm reserving the right to shake my outraged fist at them and order them Aht of Mah Pub!

Scott was very brave indeed to take it on and I don't blame him one iota for doing it...I would kill (or at least maim) to do SCD.

Labadsheedy, I've been quite concerned about his health for some time: weight loss, epic tiredness, slurred speech on occasion...never good signs
