Don't think that format worked well. Too awkward for words. Gave the impression that Matt came third, when he could well have topped the public vote. Didn't give him time to talk either, and made 2 celebs share the spotlight.
Didn't like to see everyone crowd around Scott and leave Gavin and Katya standing by themselves on the dancefloor. I know it doesn't mean much, but it looked bad and could have been avoided with a different format. The results show should be all about the ones leaving. |

Well i reckon Matts showdance will have everything including the kitchen sink in it!
Parallel bars, vault, rings, unicyles - a veritable circus if you will ![]()

Personally, I find her dancing generally average - so the constant tens have annoyed me no end. I also find the performance of her and James to be every bit as fake and contrived as that of ola and Chris.

What is ridiculous is that I kept an eye on the spoiler thread last night, so I knew what was going to happen, but I still found it quite emotional!
The show dancers are not only a waste of money, but are quite appallingly bad - poor timing, under-rehearsed and instantly forgettable. The new guy is okay and of course Darren is brill, but the others - meh. And where's Ian? Don't shoot me, but I enjoyed Bruce and Lance doing that duo - very Rat Pack, which is entirely in keeping with the Hollywood theme they seem to have gone for in this series. I also thought Take That were good, although that's down to Gary Barlow, who was pitch perfect as ever. Did Robbie look just a teensy bit sulky at being reduced to a backing singer role? Gav and Scott going - ah well, always sorry to see anybody fall at the final hurdle, but the right three couples are through, IMO. Really looking forward to next week's final.

Commiserations to Scott and Gavin, felt sorry for Gavin being a spare part at the end as well.
Good luck to Kara |

Full interview with Pammie, grinning like a loon, thanking everyone for voting ......... zilch for Matt. ![]() However Gavin was featured more in the end dance and credits, I was fixated on them and there was only a few seconds where they concentrated solely on Scott. ![]() Gavin has always lingered around the outskirts of the group at the end of every show ..... I think it is just his personality, he is not pushy at all and very shy. It's all rather endearing and I can fully appreciate that demeanor. |

Parallel bars, vault, rings, unicyles - a veritable circus if you will ![]() ![]() Yes, I suggested that last week as I thought the judges were getting a bit tired of seeing his "floor exercise programme" constantly repeated. |

![]() No way am I picking a favourite next year if there's a show - it's not worth the stress. Damn the BBC and EE ![]() Well done Scott & Natalie for getting this far though under difficult circumstances and Gavin & Katya for reaching this stage. |

I reckon James will have all the help he wants with the rest of the 'original' pros with his showdance as i would say they are willing him to win the glitterball!

They switched the lights out quickly on Kara. She didn't get a chance to thank the voters.

I'm glad they gave Scott a good send-off - he's been supportive to everybody from day one.
He was a gracious loser, and seems to be very popular with everyone. I have voted for him every week, and will certainly miss him.

Scott's been on borrowed time since the judges started over marking him. Good to see Matt and especially Kara in the final.

shame about scott though but his strictly ended weeks ago. i thought he was a dead cert for the final, he would've been if he didn't have so much work on |

I would have liked Matt, Kara and Scott in the final. They have all worked hard with other outside commitments. However, the last couple of weeks I have felt that Natalie was drawing more attention to herself and to her dancing than creating a dance to show off Scott more. Just my thoughts.
Good luck to all three finalists, I look forward to the final. |

So pleased that Kara and Artem are through!!
Glad about Matt too but would have liked to see Scott instead of Pamela, but never mind ![]() Also did anyone else think Tess looked a little on the pregnant side in the results show tonight?? |

I am being good about telly licence and not watching anything live (for now). Just caught up on results show on iPlayer and found myself on the brink of a weep, despite being an avid spoiler-reader - so sad to lose both of them. Dislike the J-word intensely, but why does it seem like this year has been particularly long? (Not that I am complaining, Strictly is always good fun. Perhaps postgrad life drawls everything out...)

I wish Matt had had a proper opportunity to celebrate - it would have looked too ungracious for him to 'do a James' as Scott had just been knocked out.
