I actually don't care whether they win or not. For me they have given by far the most interesting and fun set of routines I have ever seen on Strictly. Everything else I have seen before, maybe slightly different, but essentially the same. The only other different thing I can think of off-hand is the fantastic one-arm spin that Artem did with Kara. So winning really doesn't make a difference. I doubt the celebs are that bothered either. It is only a tacky glitterball, and it certainly isn't any of their main jobs. The main thing they have each been given is the chance to do a lot of dancing.
Having said that, the big advantage of Matt and Aliona having got to the final is the chance to do a showdance with all rules off. Now that I am really looking forward to, and hoping that Aliona gives it all barrels.
I like your start! My own preference is for something self-referential about Matt being a FARMER and Aliona Miss Whiplash. So.... start the show dance with Aliona dressed like Little Bo-Peep and Matt as a FARMER and then....goodness knows what.
