They won't answer. It's either past their bedtime or they're back under lock and key.

My niece voted for her every week. I vote for who I enjoy watching week to week and twice that was Ann.

All Ann voters have been returned either to their asylums or to local Tory HQ cardboard boxes.

What I would never vote for is unpleasantness.

The whole series has been peppered with posts just like this. It is up to others who they vote for and references to mental stability are just unnecessary, BTW I have not voted for Ann once..........

I have to admit that I did vote for Ann for the first couple of weeks but my vote then changed to the better dancers who I felt needed a vote in any given week.

Hubby on the other hand continued to vote for her up until 'Titanic'

Defensive much?

Blimey, it's only a phone poll, it's not like it's something important, you know?

I've never voted. For anyone. I'm far too tight.

This is what I had from the bbc.

Dear Mr Leadbeater

Reference CAS-436592

Thanks for your e-mail regarding ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, broadcast on BBC One.

I understand that you are unhappy that Ann Widdecombe is still a contestant on the programme.

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is an entertainment show and, although a dancing competition, it isn’t always the best dancers who capture the hearts of the voting public. Although not everyone may agree with the public’s vote, or indeed the judges' votes, the show has always made sure that both have a say in who should continue on in the competition.

Feedback like your own helps to inform the discussion about our programme’s content. The reactions of our audiences are closely studied by programme makers and their senior management to ensure the right judgement is being made about what’s acceptable to the audience in general.

I'd like to assure you that I've registered your complaint on our audience log. This is a daily report of audience feedback that's circulated to many BBC staff, including members of the BBC Executive Board, programme makers, channel controllers and other senior managers.

The audience logs are seen as important documents that can help shape decisions about future programming and content.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us.

Kind Regards

Mark Roberts
