Time for Brucie and Tess to call it a day

Because of working shifts I have been watching some of this years SCD on iPlayer and I can't help skipping parts where Brucie and Tess waffle on. Some bits just get repetative - like couple Brucie saying "well look at this" every time a couple get a standing ovation and his non funny jokes. I think next Strictly needs one if not two new presenters to inject some freshness into it.

Any suggestions for new presenters?

I love Tess, she doesn't take herself too seriously Love her accent also she does a very good job as presenter of SCD - much prefer her to Claudia

Tess is ridiculously wooden but still better than the godawful female presenter on DWTS. Bruce is well past it and I hope he retires ith his dignity semi-intact at the end of this series.

Tess may be better if she's paired with someone else (9though I didn't think she worked particularly well with Claudia) and I don't think the 2 hosts should be replaced at the same time..

Agreed! john barrowman for main host, Erin for co-host and Karren and Bryan Fortuna to replace Bruno and Len

The bosses should study who are ideal replacements to replace these two. They have had their day sadly imho.

I like Tess but Bruce can go any time for me. I can't listen to a word he says.

Tess is fine, and better without Bruce.

I've been a big fan of Bruce over the years but he is REALLY annoying me this series, particularly with the twaddle he spouts in the (usually stage managed) standing ovations. I wish they would turn his mic off.

Totally disagree with this sentiment! Bruce and Tess to stay! Once they go the golden age will end and the show won't be the same.

Claudia as host, Jared as sidekick.

Brucie imho is an analogue presenter in a digital age.

Well he is from another age but that's part of the charm. They just don't build the same quality nowadays.

I agree, mainly because the BBC are not going to choose the next presenters on the basis of skills or suitability-its going to be based on economics and be an in-house appointment. I have got the horrible feeling that the arrow of choice is already being aimed at the head of John Barrowman and imo he will destroy Strictly -he is just to too flamboyant and too loud for SCD. This is why i keep praying Bruce's health holds out-Barrowman is pure Marmite.

Bruce and Tess are Strictly and Tess has been the main presenter of the results show. Anyone new is going to demote her once more so maybe Tess future is bound up with Bruce. For the record I think Tess has been brilliant for SCD.

Like your style fabulist. Never thought of Erin in that roll before but after seeing her with her machine on ITT it think she would be fab! However not sure I could stomach Karen......can we swap her for Matt Cutler please?

I'm surprised theres anyone who doesn't like Karen I find her excellent, so informative without being boring - her enthusiasm for dancing always comes through.
Besides, the BBC don't deserve Matthew after how they treated him
