Big massive fat yay! Didn't like them the first time round, absolutely love Robbie and love them now he's back.

Were they on TV? I never noticed....

A massive yay - each time and on each channel.

Definitely a yay.

Seems Robbie has now become the lead singer though which is annoying. I never wanted him back and now fear the whole tour will become the Robbie show.

I hope he's put into his place a bit more.

Its right that Robbie is at the forefront though. He has charisma. Sure ... Barlow can knock out a good tune ... but its Rob's charisma that sells it.

They've found a new lease of life now that Rob's back. They should be grateful. At least Banker Barlow knows which way his bread's buttered.

He had charisma about ten years ago. He seems lobotomised now. P'raps he's been taken over by one of David Icke's lizard overlords.

He still has 100% charisma more than banker barlow. But ... give Barlow his due ... he knows a 'dollar' sign when he sees it. He's only more than grateful to take a back seat to Robbo now. The guy just has no dignity! But he knows how many blue beans make five!

I loved their performances. Love that you can see them enjoying themselves and not taking it too seriously. Robbie boosts them too, they are complete with him involved IMO. You can't take anything away from the other lads, and I will always like their 4-piece incarnation, but with Robbie there it's more...essential. He's a complete nutcase but that adds to it!

I'd rather see Hawkwind. Liven things up a bit.

Always love a bit of Take That

I loved hearing `Want you back` nostalgia

But i have a feeling that Robbie prefers it when it is just him in the spotlight, attention all on him

Including Xfactor it was;
Yay,
wow, Robbie on his own?
Yay,
Yay,
Getting bored.

Nay, definitely. To have them on Strictly and The X Factor was far too much.

Nay: weekend Take That overkill...

I want to say yay, but I cringe when they all start dancing with each other and grinning at each other - we get it, they like each other now - it's just a bit nausiating for me (I am a take that fan btw).

Then one has to question why, by all accounts a successful band, invite back a past member with whom there has been a lot of history, (good & bad) and then give him lead vocals in a lot of the songs on the new album, and themselves also act as if they are backing singers to Robbie?

I am a major RW fan, and I will admit that there is absolutely no doubt that Take That - The four piece, were in a much stronger position than Robbie to dictate how he would fit into the band as a 5 piece. The majority of TT fans who are upset about RW rejoining, appear to overlook that - why?

Yay... from me on TT on SCD and X-factor.

That's true. Patience, Shine, Rule The World...huge flops!

Anyway, a yay.

Pretty much what I've been saying for weeks. He's back on their terms; part of me thinks that part of the deliberate decision to have him take lead on The Flood was to test him out - every show they've done, he has to stand out front on his own to start the song and they want to see if he can cope, or if he'll bottle it.

RW has a pretty good voice; I think, he and "The Captain" are probably the best singers and having him there has allowed GB to do something a bit more experimental. I'm not a big TT fan so my view is based on limited knowledge of their previous stuff, but while Mark seems quite strong his voice has an odd timbre to it that wouldn't suit everything - he's fantastic on Kidz but until recently I didn't even realise Up All Night was Take That...

I would say yay. I like the mature version of Take That. To me their voices sound better now than they did when they were teenagers/early 20s - I thought that the version of their old song on Sunday (?) sounded better than it did originally. I was never a fan of them when I was in my teens. I wasn't a fan of Robbie Williams solo except fot the odd song and when he sang the swing standards, which I thought suited the range of his voice much better.
