Pat Mills has been keen to link as many of his stories into the same universe as possible for years now, with varying degrees of success. He says he's really looking forward to writing Howard Quartz's accident in 'Savage' and having 'Richard Branson' transformed into Mr 10%!

Actually, the Judges are a contentious one: Dredd has met both Friday and Johnny Alpha, but there was an implication that they were coming to his world from alternate future timelines, and Hammerstein's history as recounted in a mid 90s Dredd story completely contradicts the timeline of the character established by Pat in various other stories. However, to add to the list: long forgotten Tornado strip 'The Lawless Touch' also fits into the Millsverse timeline as Johnny Lawless went undercover to spy on those dirty Volgs in 1979, and both Harlem Heroes and Flesh take place in the same timeline as Dredd's world (Harlem Hero John Giant Clay's son was Judge Giant, and Cursed Earth monstrosity Satanus was the son of Flesh's mad tyrrannosaur Old One Eye). It all starts to get a bit confusing when Thoth snatches Satanus out of what for him is presumably an alternate past to send him against his father, Nemesis. And then, we have the references to Mega City One in an early Ro-Busters tale (which would indeed seem to indicate that Dredd's woprld is actually the same timeline as the one in the Millsverse, except for that problematic 90s Hammerstein story, again; possibly best to just consider that one apocryphal).

There was a story in the Megazine last year in which a Brit-Cit agent called Palmer (who looked like Michael Caine) was sent by his boss Hartnell (who looked like the first Doctor) was sent to Megacity 1 to retreive something called File Alpha which turned out to be secret information that Psi-Division had gleaned from Johnny Alpha during Judgement Day. The info was about the Atomic War which occured in the Strontium Dog timeline in 2150. However that wouldn't necessarily mean that Johnny Alpha wasn't from an alternate future.

In their original story on Mars the ABC Warriors came across a Tyrannosaur called Golgatha who was the son of Satanus. That would provide a link between Flesh, Judge Dredd, The ABC Warriors and Nemesis

So once again, it's just that Dredd/Hammerstein story (only written to cash in on the Dredd movie) which mucks up the timeline by suggesting that Hammerstein was buried in the desert for years when he couldn't possibly have been there according to the timelie prsented elswhere. I think I'm going to just disregard it.

Seems like a good idea to me. With the exception of Mean Machine Angel I try and disregard anything to do with the film

To quote the talentless Judge Stallone himself: I knew you'd say that.

It's what anyone with common sense and even the slightest knowledge of 2000AD would say
