Fairer judging

the judges seem to have there favourites yet again this year, they over mark there favourite to ensure they get through the following week, you have illegal lifts scoring perfect marks, how? my soultion to stop this change the judges every week, no chance of favourites fairer comp then as it will be based on what they dance not what they did the week/s before

Interesting indeed that most of the anti Kara threads I've seen recently are all started by users with only 1 post and the same, gibberish-like names.

I'd like the judges to still score but just as a guide, not have 50 percent say. It would be public vote only then bring back the dance off for the bottom 2 but make Craig head judge.

lets make it more intresting have the losing pro dancer from the week before join the judges to make it 5 judges, i would like to see kara win it think she has been the best dancer overall, but the judges should not say about lifts, if they are not going to mark them down if they are not allowed

The judges have always had favourites - you can't get round that.

As has been mooted elsewhere I would favour a system that takes account of the degree of difficulty of the routine, whether this is in the form of a mark for performance and a mark for choregraphy or in having mandatory elements for each dance.

Kara clearly has more difficult routines than Pam - which is why she may not always be technically perfect.

Additionally it would give the judges the chance to punish the pros for their choreography when it is not up to standard [thinking of Aliona] - without detracting from the performance element.

And with join dates of December 2010.

Strange, innit?

Why, one might almost think that such threads are lacking in credibility in some way...

how are you meant to gain any credibility if people, as soon as they see you have only just joined, or that this is your first post, automatically disrecard them, did people do that when you first wrote on the forum?
