Well, it (sometimes) seems to me (but probably not to everyone else) that it's necessary (or maybe just optional) to add a conditional "some" to anything (or maybe just some things) that's written on (some) forums.
The whole point is that you cannot
impose inspiration on anyone; being inspired actually involves the wilful reception and participation of the person who is being inspired. Ergo, by logic alone, you cannot inspire anyone who is actively resistant to it.
So, she can be considered to be "
an inspiration to women but only those who choose to be inspired by her" - but you'd possibly have to agree that the sentence becomes rather unwieldy ........ (or possibly not)?
