Pamela's a bit like a carthorse at times.

I'm sure she's a very nice lady but some of her performances are a bit carthorse-esque at times imho

Yes i agree. She is very heavy on her feet

I just hope that Kara blows her out of the water

I agree, lacking in finesse. I thought that red revealing outfit was ungainly, especially around the pants area. Still she is a good dancer and a good sport. I would have preferred to keep Scott but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

She can be at times. Of the three remaining I think she has improved the most. Love her attitude and her enjoying every moment of the experience. Had she been bottom of the public vote she could have left, she didn't so quite a few want to see her in the final. Me for one.

Revelation someone in thier 20s can dance better than a 60 yr old.

Yes, I agree. I'm surprised how much the judges like her, especially Craig, who is usually a bit more honest.

Maybe he honestly likes her.

I think the Carthorse Protection League may have something to say about this. I've never seen a carthorse behave in such an undignified fashion on national tv.

*The one that crapped in the Blue Peter studio was an elephant I think.*

Yes, of course he does, that's obvious but not my point. She is heavy on her feet and Craig would normally point that out.

I think the judges are right to praise Pamela's dancing as much as they do. She is inspirational and a sheer joy to watch.

There is something about her that just "irks" me slightly - I don't know what it is..... and - what were thoes shoes all about that she wore for the swingathon??????

Well, sorry, but have you ever seen a carthorse on tv pawing away at a fellow carthorse half her age and voicing its fantasies about his sex life?

Thought not. (Or if you have, what channel was it on please?)

Psssst - carthorses can't speak.

It's probably because they're horses.

Probably on sexcetera!

It's a strange thing this chemistry and how it relates to us viewers. I found Felicity utterly embarrassing but I have never felt urghh with James and Pamela. I see it as light flirting, and I'm jolly glad flirting is not only for the very young, nothing more than that at all.

To be fair, they can't dance ballroom or latin that well either (and the costumes are a b*gger to make as well). I assumed the OP was being metaphorical. Otherwise I don't like to think what qualities Pammie literally shares with a carthorse.

Carthorse I believe are dependable, industrious, gorgeous and rather loveable. Pamela should love the comparison!

I don't see it as embarrassing at all. It's a performance - nothing more. These are professional performers who are good at what they do.

Indeed. I'd never considered the similarities before but on the basis of that, you're right.

Go Pamela!!!

Pamela is sensationally strong and durable, giving best to no-one in the swingathon. Carrying the midriff and weight of age she of course cannot compete with twentysomething Kara on suppleness. Did either attempt the samba roll?

As a matter of interest, over 11 weeks Pamela actually topped the judges board more times (5.5) than Kara and Matt combined (4.5).

The nub of the matter. I think this is what a lot of people are unhappy about as it does not seem to them to reflect the quality of the dancing.

No - because neither of them has performed a samba ...

Yes, but Kara has a higher average score.
