from what i've read on joe-music voting has been down. I think only 15000000 votes were cast all series and in last years final alone, 10000000 votes were cast. also i think last year 19.7 million viewers watched and this year only 19.4 watched.
I wish matt all the best, but i'm always sticking by Joe, i'm not going anywhere!

I'm really not supposed to be here while I'm at work but I couldn't go any longer without saying that - as disappointed as I am that such a brilliant song as Someone Wake Me Up hasn't set the charts on fire (yet ) - I am sticking with Joe, wherever that takes me - literally (touring the UK) and on the emotional rollercoaster. If anything, I'm even more determined to support him now.

Listening to the interview with those abysmal presenters from Heart West Country the other day, one of them (can't be bothered to look up who) said to Joe, 'if it had been me I'd have given up after the RATM campaign'. And Joe replied something like 'what and just not have a career because of that?' And he's right, you have to be made of strong stuff to survive in the music industry. I'm sure, as down as he might feel right now, he has that strength of character.

He has lots of personal support from his friends and family, he has his dedicated fan support, now he needs proper professional support. Let's hope Syco really are feeling as bad as has been suggested (and they should feel A LOT worse ) and that they take a different approach with Joe now, or find someone who is up to showcasing and promoting his amazing talent.

OK I'm rambling now. Woohoo Part 8

I completely agree with you yl! I feel so much more supportive of Joe, if that makes sense, hopefully one day i'll be able to tour the country with you all! right, off to lunch!

Thank you Cara for clearing up what was said in Daybreak. My heart sank when I thought they had all been dissing him, especially Yvie. I would have been so disappointed in her. It actually sounds as though they were quite supportive.

I am feeling the same way as you Karin, but also with a determination to stick by Joe no matter what as YL said.

The only way is up!

Loved the videos of RLS, I was feeling a bit down before I went to work and watching that again really lifted me

Thanks for reviews Hgm and Suzette. Sounds like you had a great time on Saturday and had your own meet and greet with Joe. What a lovely young man he is.

From talking to a few people that have been to The George it sounds like Revenge. Tiny stage and not very high so get there early lol

Woop for part 8.

Just popping in to welcome part 8.

Let's keep our spirits up in this thread, we've been with Joe over a year now and he has never let us down, we still all love him as much if not more than at the beginning.

Doesn't he look gorgeous in that picture, can't link to it as in last part!

One thing I noticed at the weekend, while trying not to stare as he was talking to Hazel, he has beautiful dark eyelashes!

Wide awake going up in the charts then, maybe peolpe are buying the album rather than the single.

Here you go just because Thanks to Superjo for posting in first place. Great photo

Joe has the most beautiful eyes, it is what I remember from the signing in Newcastle. When I walked outside I couldn't have told you what he wore or how his hair was done. My overall impression was his eyes and how they sparkled and made you feel he was so interested in what you had to say.

Since everyone loves the picture so much I thought I'd bring it over to Part 8

He looks even more stunning without all the distracting writing around it

Ooops I see Eva beat me to it, but I will leave it as I have just posted the picture and she posted the whole article

Hiya!

Not doing a proper review for this one but it was yet another fantastic weekend, although it didn’t exactly go to plan! All the trains infront of us were either having problems or breaking down so we were heavily delayed and didn’t even pull into Bham New St station til past 9 o’clock. We got to the hotel and it was like a quick change act..the fastest i’ve ever got ready!
Got to the club and found outselves front row and stayed there all night! It was a place that didn’t get busy until 11 o’clock but it was funny watching the guys and they were playing lots of Steps and S club which was fun! Back to my childhood haha. Oh and Jen had an admirer LOL!

Joe came on stage at 1.30am and by this point the place was so packed and the atmosphere was immense! Lots of Joe Love in the room. He came bouncing on stage to Feel The Fire and done the usual set, plus an encore of Real Late Starter (big YAY!) Crowd were singing back to him lots and the grin on Joe’s face was just lovely.

Me and Joanne only decided to go a couple of days before hand..there was a bit of a negative atmosphere around and wanted to go show our support! M&G tix were sold out but at these things i think you should go for the performance..and what a performance it was! Sooo glad we went.

Got up the next morning after 2 hours sleep and was knackered lol! We managed to meet Joe in the morning, his team were busy getting stuff sorted to leave so he came over to chat, just the 3 of us there. It was lovely as usual to catch up and making us laugh with his good sense of humour!

Thats the last Joe events for me for 2010, can’t do Ireland as i already have plans which im looking forward to..glad as i need to get back in the swing of things with my “normal life” for a bit LOL!

What a year it’s been though and im so grateful for it..the highs and lows of Joe’s career, travelling round the country with 20 odd new friends (so much fun!) countless new cities visited (not that we see much of them!) many happy hours watching him performing (could never get bored!) meeting him quite a few times (enough said!) and enough memories to last a lifetime.

Roll on 2011 !!

Soo close, was just about having a heart attack! At one point his leg was inches from me..he had put his foot on a speaker infront of us. Was so tempted

Yep RLS was an encore, first time one has been done. Wasn't much of a built up for it, was a great suprise though!

Did he actually come back on stage for the encore? The crowd must have gone wild
