My HM mentioned Shirely Ballas but I don't know if her schedule in America would permit it or even if she'd want to be a judge on Strictly. I remember she had done a group dance for Strictly once.”

bbc ought to have more faith in her rather than going for tried and trusted lol.

Not weird when you consider the marking supplied by the other judges!

If we're stuck with the props and the faffing again next year I'd like to see the following on the panel...

The Krankies
The 'Go compare' singer
Ant and/or Dec

The reason being that I have a violent aversion to them all and it would give me another excuse not to bother with the show at all

However, if by a miracle the faffing abaht is knocked on the head and the judges get a recognisable routine to criticize, I'd like to see...

Craig
Karen
Camilla
Brendan...or Darren...or anyone else who knows what they're talking about and can say it without resorting to pantomime

like I said before bbc focus who can do the best business for them rather than paying attention to the viewers.

I'm amazed at all the posts supporting Karen Hardy - I find her rictus grin truly off putting and hated the way she danced (almost an exaggeration of being a pro dancer)
I suppose if she is judging - we don't have to see her on the dance floor.

Swimming against the tide but I really like Craig, Len and Bruno!

I used to feel the same, keep swimming against the tide away!

This year I have wondered what they've seen that I haven't. Some people have been unable to put a foot wrong and others never managing to do enough. I wish the judges would be a bit more consistent to all the contestants. (The ranting at the TV every week is beginning to take it's toll - I spotted grey hairs in my fringe this morning!)
