I know there are a few threads floating around, but I thought I'd set one up for the show as a whole.
I picked up the first season the other day so I'm very behind, but I LOVE it! Who is your favourite character? |

You're in for a treat, Gossip Girl is an amazing show!
Its one that you can watch without having to think to much, but their is still a good plotline with a good few twists. My favourite character was Little J but not it is probably Dan. |

It's one of my favourite shows ever! I think it went a bit stale in Season 3 but it's picked up again now, I'm loving Season 4 and can't wait for it return in a few weeks.
My favourite character is Little J or Blair. |

Do we have a date for new eps on ITV2 yet? I love Chuck and Blair - though I find it funny that Clemence Poesys' character was so quickly forgotten when Chuck had been setting up charitable funds in her name and all sorts

^ Ahh i'm not that far ahead. I think I may be ordering the dvd boxset seeing as I'm only on season 2 at the moment.
Although I have watched at least 3 episodes today. |

I love this show. I used to like the books and was initially put off by all the changes they made but I liked it once I saw it as a show in its' own right. Chuck and Blair are the best characters - Blair's awesome and I just adore Chuck.
Season 1 was fantastic, Season 2 was almost as good, Season 3 was subpar particularly in the middle but Season 4 has been great so far. |

Gossip Girl is one of the best shows on the box. My favourite series is number two because I really felt the show hit its stride during that run. Jenny is no longer going to be a series regular (Series 3 onwards) due to her commitments with her band 'The Pretty Reckless'. I had mixed opinions on the first half of series 4. There were some good parts like the episode when Serena and Blair get revenge on Juliet with their faux 'on screen' fight; some of Juliet's story was also intriguing. However, I felt in places that the series was a little slow, especially the Paris episodes which I felt were a waste of an opportunity. That said, I'll definitely be tuning in on at the end of Jan on ITV2 for new episodes.

^ Although I haven't seen season 3 yet I did wonder how Taylor Momsen would juggle TPR with Gossip Girl.
I'm a big TPR fan, and she was the reason I started watching GG. |
