I mean, there's only a few of us that discuss GG anyway, so I did laugh when I read the description of the US TV Forum; like tons of new threads are going to pop up to talk about GG as it's so popular on here, now there is a dedicated sub forum for it.

Anyway, I'm not sure what I think of the last two episodes. I mean I was so angry when they shot down Dan/Blair so quickly in the 18th April episode when they spent weeks building it up, which in turn made me jump ship and now it seems that we're building up to a Chuck/Blair finale. I'm a little less angry now, having seen Blair defend her and Dan's connection to Serena! I'm still clinging on to the sinking Dair ship.

Also, have to say I really hate Charlie, she's like a rubbish version of Jenny. You know soon she'll turn into a superbitch and have a Serena style breakdown.

Finally, was just wondering is Georgina going to appear in this season's finale, as she always features in them and it would be weird if she wasn't?

Yeah, the actress who plays Georgina (Michelle Trachenberg) has signed on for the series finale; it was reported on DS a while back. She's always fun, so can't wait to see what trouble she causes.

Anyone think that Charlie is going to takedown Vanessa? I wonder if her secret is that she's a bit obsessive. I reckon she wants Dan, or to be his best friend in place of Vanessa.

Wow, Chuck's really going dark... I expect him to do something really crazy by the end of the season, only to find out Reyna's (sp?) mom is still alive or something. I was actually quite worried for Blair at the end of the episode, good thing he punched the window because I thought he was going to do much worse.

Momsen, Szohr dropped from Gossip Girl

I haven't seen any of season 4 (Waiting for boxset) but I'm sad to hear that Taylor Momsen is a diva (allegedly). I liked Jessica Szohr as Vanessa too.

Oh, Bex, don't tell me that! I'm gonna watch it tomorrow, but I'm not liking this lack of Dair

I'm glad that it seems that the 'plot device' Prince is not going to be in the 5th series as I'm finding him a pointless and unnecessary hindrance in the show.

I might still be a bit mad that he stopped Dair in it's tracks. Yep, I'm blaming him!

How good have the past 2 episodes been? Series 4 hasn't been great but Gossip Girl has had a (very) late return to form. The final scene of Blair being on the rooftop with Raina's dad was a great twist, and the first cliffhanger this series that makes me excited for the next episode.

Really can't wait now for the series finale next week, which the producers have promised is a 'game changer' in the whole show.

An old friend returns next week too, ready to cause more trouble...

Gutted Taylor won't be in the next season always liked Little J, not too fussed about Vanessa never liked the character.

I don't think Eric will be in season 5. He was cast in the ABC Pilot Revenge and that just got picked up and the shows film at the same time. He could just be a guest star in the Revenge Pilot and not a regular but I'm not sure.

I can't believe there's only one episode left; I am really excited about it and I really want it to be a 'game changing' episode that it has already been labelled as! If it wasn't for Dair, then Season 4 would basically have been a rehash of Seasons 1, 2 and 3 and I don't think I can watch another season of the characters going around in circles and doing the same things over again!

Nice finale, I actually liked it quite a bit. I really didn't see the Charlie twist coming, although I'm not entirely sure what she handed over near the end. Only think I disliked was the pregnancy test. It felt so out of place and unneeded, like GG just wanted to end it with a shocker. I'm pretty sure it won't be any of the main characters... my guess is it'll be Dorota or someone like that. Apart from the pregnancy test, good finale.

P.S. It's annoying how even when I KNOW Vanessa won't be back next season and rejoice, she has to piss me off one last time this season. It's extremely ironic how the one character that isn't on the "inside" is the most manipulative, conniving, intrusive one that can never mind her own friggin' business.

What a finale!, although a bit confusing at the end.

Even though I don't like Vanessa, it was a really good exit and tied up the storyline between herself and Dan quite nicely.

Serena's storyline was a bit random - is she going to be an actress/script writer, now?

Charlie's twist was great, but I thought it wasn't obvious that they were blank cheques in the bag.

For me the highlight of the finale was Georgina Sparks! "You get me, Serena!". It looks like she will at least be in the start of series 5, so that's good news.

One last thought: Nate has been M.I.A in series 4!

I am so excited for season 5 already. Serena, Chuck and Nate are going to partying it up in LA, so Dan and Blair will be left in New York to hang out again. Can't wait!
