DTI 6300 160GB recording more than the programme
If I set my PVR to record a programme off the guide then It also records the programmes previous to it, from the time I set the recoding.
This means I have to fast forward through hours of recordings to watch the programme I'm interested in ![]() As yet I've not tried to reset my box (when I do it takes days to get a full EPG listing). Does anyone else have this problem? |

Yes I have the same problem but for some reason it only happens then the wife tapes Eastenders if the One Show is on before it - no idea why it happens but we put up with it.

I have the same problem occasionally when recording from the Cbeebies or CBBC channel, again it's something we just put up with. |

I have reverted back to 5.08, the problem seems to be only if you are using the Freeview+ EPG.
At first it appeared only to happen with recordings set before the latest update but last night i recorded the 100 greatest toys which was set as a planned recording after the latest update and the box went on for 6 hours. You can tell when the box is playing up as the EPG locks up at the time the recording started, this of cause means the box will also miss any recordings set to start after the time it froze. |
