The boardroom outburst derives from a day of interviews when the final 5 contestants are grilled by business leaders.

Quote:

One of the bosses dismisses Staurt, 21, as a ''blagger'' because of claims he has made about his communications firm based on the Isle of Man.

Lord Sugar, who saved
Stuart last week when he
fired hot favourite Liz
Locke, then tells him: “It’s
interesting that the
regulator of Isle of Man
telecoms doesn’t know
anything about you. My
guy is not a mug, he knows people.

“The thing is, my four
advisers looked at me and said that you’re full of s*** basically, and possibly you have been throughout the whole course of this process.

“What annoys me more is that if I’ve misunderstood you with your claims and everything else you said
you’ve done, and someone like Liz left the process last week, I feel more sick.

“I don’t believe a word you say, Stuart. I’m annoyed with myself.”

Looks like the 'bad' guy got his come-uppance. Thoughts please.

My thought is this is rather spoilery especially the thread title - maybe you can change it OP?.

I would be annoyed, but lets face it, the Baggster was always going to be getting the heave-ho tonight.

I too found it to be somewhat of a spolier but it is in newspaper today and hardly unexpected. I am pleased he was 'kept' for the interview phase though and am still looking forward to tonight.

Having read the mirror article
what exactly is the big difference between an ISP license which he holds and a full license.
If he can make 3m turnover on an isp one does it matter that much.
And LS is sorry for losing LIz. Thats sounds like a joke. There is not one poster on here who without knowing the 'truth' about Stuart thought Liz should go.

Sugar likes liars, he ended up offering Lee the job when he had blatantly lied on his CV.

Huge difference in terms of infrastructure and the kind of money you need to set yourself up. An ISP can just piggyback off of someone else's lines and equipment, which is probably precisely what's he's doing. Even though I'd be very wary of accepting his "£3 million turnover" claim, even if it is accurate, if he's piggybacking off of someone else's lines and equipment, chances are that there wouldn't be a great deal of profit anyway.

I like the sound of this lol,I thought last week when Stuart seemed to defy all the odds by being was kept in, that he was only being saved for someone, probably Margret, to take him apart this week im so hoping im right lol.

What I found annoying is that you'd have to be bloody gullible to fall for Stuart's guff. The stuff that he was coming out with, especially in light of his age and his track record on the show, just didn't have an air of credibility about it.

Well he didnt sound sorry to lose Liz no with regret or anything. Now he comes up that he misses her. Is he also trying to save face. Perhaps he should be fired. He is getting a worker worth 100 grand for nothing. I wonder who pays them for the last 6 months working for him. They have to live. Or does the show pay that as well.

My thoughts exactly.

Curious that last week he made a point of bringing trust into the debate with Stuart and then all of a sudden Stuart is 'exposed' on the interview round? Seems rather convenient to me.

If Stuart does go (it's not certain he will, Lee McQueen also lied and went on to win) then I suspect Sugar knew all along what was going on with Stuart but kept him in for entertainment purposes.

When I read the article I thought they'd exposed him as not having a company at all and it was all a fake but it seems they're just attacking how big his company actually is and certain claims Stuart has made. Which isn't the greatest of crimes really. I'm sure a lot of pretty big people in business have blagged a few things in their careers to get deals.

Sugar isn't a mug.. I'm sure he knew exactly what Stuart Baggs was from day 1.. so his faux shock and outrage this week in this article seems rather staged to me and typical of the interview stage of the show. But as we saw with Mr McQueen... over exaggerating yourself isn't always Apprentice suicide.

Exactly.. just seems like fluff to me, something they "dug up" that will sound good on TV. Had they gotten his company accounts and found out he was heavily in debt and hadn't made a penny.. and his parents were funding him, then let rip. But a tit for tat argument over how big his company is and what his company can actually do just seems engineered to create the 'bollocking' the interview round always creates year on year. Someone is always exposed.. with Lee McQueen it actually seemed to help his cause.

The fact he has a company and it's in profit should be good enough for Sugar. Debating who within the industry knows him or how much his company can actually do is just knocking him down a peg rather than giving Sugar a reason to boot him out.

I dunno.. I get the feeling this has been put out by BBC to make us all think Stuart gets fired but theres a classic Apprentice twist. He'll bollock Stuart and then there will be a "But.." and he will turn to someone else and fire them and suggest Stuart stop inflating his own ego and get real. At which point Baggs wakes up and starts acting his age and goes on to win.

What I don't understand is why the business claims of the Apprentice candidates are not checked before they are accepted in the process. It's obvious that many of them are just bluffing about their achievments..

Becouse if they did check 'em out beforehand, there would be little point to the interviews show.

I would imagine they are.

And then if they appear particularly promising and any deception that has been discovered is not too serious they are allowed to take part.

Looking at the bagginator when he calms down; there's a fair probability that he will become a good businessman once he's grown up a bit. It wasn't impossible at the start that he was going to show something promising so it was considered worthwhile letting him try.

Am I the only one to notice this? Stuart's still updating the blog as company director, surely had Lord Sugar have made him his apprentice he'd have handed over the reigns?

Indeed. It's only a spoiler to the delusional ones who think he was kept in for any other reason than to have the piss extracted from him relentlessly in the interviews episode.

Agree entirely, Yasmina was found out for a similar thing.

I hope that the fact he has exagerrated doesn't distract people from the fact he has set up a profitable business. It seems like they've got him on a technicality. I don't think Stuart should be the Apprentice but I do think it would be worth LS investing in him.

Not sure how it works but I think I read once that the apprentice final isn't filmed until the week before it's shown on TV. Not sure if that's accurate tho. He may not be taking up a position until after the final is broadcast.

Looking at this site. He saves a major company shoprite rental fees I just find it hard to dismiss him. This is bright spark innovation whatever you like to call it. I dont understand all what he writes there, it sounds very technical and futuristic but he certainly is going places. He really has something to blag about.

Well it might look impressive but, as I doubt he was digging up the roads, I strongly suspect that all he's done is resold a circuit from Manx Telecom.

Unless he's actually dug a new trench (or installed a satellite link which I'm sure he'd have mentioned) the cabling for the new line will be in exactly the same bundle as the cables the customer currently uses so if some overenthusiastic contractor chops through that bundle the new 'high availability' line will disappear along with their current solution.
