Corrie - Hayley's son
Has this storyline been dropped? It feels very unresolved. I had hoped for a sensitive storyline of a man coming to terms with finding his dad (and discovering he is now a she), and Hayley coming to terms with having a son, and Roy coming to terms with it as well, and the 3 of them forming an unconventonal and interesting relationship.
But it seems it was just a sensationalist ploy to have Hayley get punched and then never mentioned again... |

I agree it could be an excellent story, especially when you consider the quality of the Corrie actors who would be involved. Roy and Hayley are two of their best, and Becky can be good if they don't make her too hysterical.

I think they should go back to the story and have Christian come to terms with it....I think the main reason for the story was to let Julie leave for a year (Hayley went to Africa) she wouldn't have left Roy for any less of a situation

I'd really like it if that story got resurrected again, there'd be a lot of dramatic mileage in it I think.
Another long-lost son story that got dropped was the one about Michelle's son being swapped at birth. She never mentions Alex now, does she? But that's one story I hope stays buried down a very, very deep hole. |

Both stories were started by Steve Frost, but quickly axed when Kim Crowther came in

It went the same way as Ken's contrived long-lost son storyline

The plot is set to return whenever Linus has time spare from Law & Order
