Strong numbers for Wipeout there, a massive improvement on what ABC had been getting in that slot although I still think Private Practice is a bit low considering the slot and it should be able to hold more of the GA audience, IMO. The Mentalist doesn't seem to be doing as well as it was - or perhaps it's just that CSI isn't dropping as fast anymore - but it continues to draw large numbers overall. Million Dollar Money Drop never really got a chance at FOX.
The story of the night, however, was
Jersey Shore. Becoming MTV's most watched series telecast ever, it had 8.45m viewers and a
4.2 rating among adults 18-49 - tying Grey's Anatomy, beating everything at 10pm and only just behind The Big Bang Theory.
