"Stella's record otherwise isn't that stellar. She's made big mistakes, failed to get the essential business point and been weaker at team leading, selling and presenting than several people this series, "

I cant agree to any of these things. Perhaps you can elaborate.

It is Stella who wins.

You only have to look at the brief trailers of the final.

Lord Sugar's finger points to his right when he says "Your're hired". Chris is sitting directly opposite him with Stella sitting on Chris's left.

I agree. I think Stella will win.

I would expect Stella to win.

EXCEPT

There must be some reason why Chris has lead such a charmed life and escaped the chop week after week and I don't suppose that reason has gone away.

I was actually quite impressed with the way he handled himself yesterday.

My hypothetical money has been on Stella for a few weeks. Particularly peaked when Liz made those b!tchy remarks back at the house and she replied "well we're competing for the same job, obviously we aren't going to agree..." I just thought she was really 'together' and as Karen pointed out last night she never (iirc) resorted to b!tching and back-stabbing. Perhaps her performance meant she never needed to?

Does anyone know: With regard to them working for LS for 6 months prior to the final being filmed - where does the actual task fit into that? Is that filmed before the 6 month trial or immediately prior to the hiring/firing?

Best of luck Stella!

Certainly not immediately before the ultimate hiring as Melissa still had he white hair in the trailer.

Plus in the trailer we say Stella and Chris in the house and I'm sure they wouldn't keep paying for something that expensive for any longer than necessary.

Ah thanks. That makes sense as to some extent, after the six month trial - which must be the decisive factor - the task would/could be irrelevant.

Then I suppose they will be able to edit the task to highlight the hired person's good decisions and the non-hired one's critical errors...

Funny that Chris slagging off Stella behind her back a few times was foreshadowing them being the final two. He is clearly majorly threatened by her in some way.

He did look at Stella rather sheepishly after they found out they were the final two, in a 'Oh f*ck, not you!' kind of way.

The real question is what kind of a job has he lined up for them.
I cant see him putting them in charge of a company they have absolutely no experience.
With stella i think he will make her some kind of PR woman for him. She should cover his dubious (I wont say shady) deals. Also he is a publicity seeker in a big way. I think since now everyone knows her she could act as his back up.
I dont think though that she would last long. She is straight, honest, maybe a bit dim at first but will soon catch on.

Which inclines me to thinking it's Chris! They film two endings so they can show whichever they want as trailer.

In fact, supposedly no one but Sugar knows until tomorrow when he tells the candidates.

Stella looks a dead cert. But is that a bluff?

As I don't know what the role is I can't state a favourite. Stella seems more reliable/proven and is well thought-of by KarNick. Chris may be more dynamic (ahem, apart from the robotic delivery).

I'll say he opts for...............Chris. Younger and maybe more malleable.

I have always liked Stella but never warmed to Chris - would have preferred Jamie!!

Yeah, but they film both of them winning. He decides which one to go with on the day.

I'm delighted the final two are Stella & Chris - they really stood out for me & were my favourites - I'd happily hire both of them

How ironic

Final is between "Corporate Carol" Stella and "Unsteady Eddie" Chris

Lord S's double negative comes, more or less, true!

Well "Your Hired" is being filmed in an hours time, so at the very least, Chris and Stella know who won. The spoiler will be out there soon enough from someone in that audience.

I didn't say it... but I agree RE the Stella thing.

People seem to forget that awful tour she did. And there are more but I'm on holiday, and can't be bothered enough to find the rest.

She, IMO. should have been fired for the tour bus. I would have asked for a refund.

I have a gut feeling that Chris is going to get hired. He's young, a recent graduate, he has his flaws but shows signs of genius. I think Lord Sugar sees a lot of potential in him and he can easily help him develop and mould him into what he wants.

Stella is strong... and she can easily adapt, but I do think he'll want to give Chris this chance.

LS also says he sees signs of genius in chris.
Just because he offered 20%. So he does things differently. I am also like that. I like to think, things can be done differently. Like when I was at university I suggested when learning data processing instead of checking two document from the beginning if they are equal, there are advantages checking from the end. I do understand what LS is looking for. But its not chris. This forum had gone into in great detail the ins and outs of it if it was such a great idea. But LS admires the fact that he thought of it. I cant think of any other thing that he did that was 'unconventional'. If anything he didnt understand what was conventional and that comes first before thinking of new things. He has, as has been pointed out not been able to stick at one thing. Going into law, I forget the rest before ending up as a banker. He is clever in a conventional (sorry i must repeat that) way. He can learn a subject and know it well. But a genius, bright spark, no never.

I like both Stella and Chris and although I would prefer Chris to win, I think Stella will. However, I've been surprised in the past so you never know...
