Joanna sacking was sad...
She clearly was not going to get through, but she seemed so desperate to escape her cleaning business.
It was very strange almost as if she was ashamed with what she does for a living. She should be proud because building up a business with no qualifications and poor education is nothing to be ashamed of. |

I don't know what happened to Joanna. She really fell apart and broke under the pressure more than any of the others, she was apologising for what she does for a living and she could barely string a sentence together either in the interviews or in the boardroom. It was quite strange and sad.

I didn't feel in the least sorry for her
in the start of the Apprentice she was quite aggressive and when AS pointed out this she became less confrontational and changed completely - because she was intelligent enough to realise she would not last, but I always felt she had not the steel or personality to become the Apprentice.

She was unprepared, no sympathy from me.

How difficult is it to look up what your prospective employer does before you interview? I wouldn't dream of employing someone who hasn't got that amount of initiative.

Rather what I found sad was how much she seemed to want to distance herself from her business.. It was like she was searching for validation through the apprentice. |
