And what on earth does her partner have to do with anything?

Same difference, no need to split hairs.
As to her partner, it's an indication of her cultural milieu.

There's a huge difference between north and south. I'm not splitting hairs, I'm pointing out your error.

As to the comment about her partner, he isn't on the show and so isn't fair game to be criticised.

oh dear, I think that should just tell u there's a little more to Stella this corporate label.... other then that thinking someone is not right for a job because their partner has tattoos is the words of a close minded muppet.

I think if u went thought LS advisors and top employees at lease one of them would have been out with a lady with a tattoo, or have a kid even with a tattoo, does it suddenly mean they cant do their job? lol

Margaret I herd your grandson has a tattoo , ur fired!

Joking apart, and my aversion to nasal voices and self-mutilation, Stella comes across to me as a corporate automaton, one who is adept, for survival purposes, to bow to and slavishly follow the Company line.
And you can't get more "Company line" than a Japanese bank.
Her indulgent, and embarrassing attempt to change this image on the London Tour task shows how unfitted she really is to be Sid's tool.

Why would it bother you what someone else chooses to do with their body? And does this apply to women with pierced ears, too?

Ear, tongue, genital, nipple, eyebrow, lip piercings - all absolutely dreadful.
If you don't understand why, sorry, I can't help you.

I can understand why you might not want them yourself. But you're right, I'll never understand why someone would disapprove of something that doesn't affect them in any way whatsoever. I'm more of a live and let live type person.

I thought her and Jamie were equally good/bad. Stells's morning tour started off great and Jamie started off a shambles. By the afternoon, Jamie had gotton into his stride and did really well and Stella had lost her mojo and was really bad.

See people are criticising Stella's tour but wasn't the problem not her 'personality' (or lack of it) but it's organisation?? And that is usually Stella's strength.

Her presentation was no worse than Jamie's stop and breath between every word tour, it was who had set up the route and did the map where the problems actually lay.

It's weird Stella's personality is being mentioned a lot despite the fact in the last task, the interviewers all seemed to agree her strong personality was one of her biggest positives while Chris was the one accused for having a boring one and Jamie was accused for having so little Margaret (for who 'personality' was the focus of her interviews) could barely manage 15 minutes talking to him.

Sorry to 'split hairs' - and not that it is remotely relevant in any case - but it wasn't actually Stella's partner who had tattoos. It was Joanna's.

But, y'know, don't let facts get in the way of making judgements about someone's 'cultural milieu'. I'm sure yours is far superior after all.

On 'The Final Five' apparently Stella was a wild child and was very unruly. So clearly she has a personality in there somewhere, plus the fact that she has made such a respectable career for herself means she has great determination and drive.
She HAS to win, I think Lord Sugar sees her as something special.

I never like correcting people but, I'm sorry, you are mistaken.
Both Joanna's and Stella's partners have tattoos.
A quick decco at the relevant episodes in which they appear will show this.
But, Joanna, of course was always a non-starter, so it's irrelevant in her case.

It's irrelevant in any case.

You seem to be the only person on the entire site who is obsessing about something so utterly trivial as to whether someone's partner has tattoos.

There must be some great sadness in your life to cause you to fixate on something so trivially unimportant.

Not at all.
I just made a passing observation.
Other posters seem to regard it as important enough to warrant a response.
But as a last word, I would just say that tattoos as such fit in with Stella's general demeanour.
If you get my drift.........

Hardly, you've made multiple postings on the subject.

A lot of people find pointless snobbery - such as obsessing about someone's partners tattoos - offensive and indicative of something seriously lacking, emotionally or intellectually - in the person exhibiting the snobbery.

Which you claimed was that of a corporate automaton.

Are they known for having partners with tattoos?

Have you noticed all the complaining about Chris' voice on here? What's wrong if someone doesn't like Stella's?

What's wrong if someone doesn't like Stella's voice?

Probably that the person expressing their dislike is a snob?

(It's Chris's monotone drone that people can't stand [although it's never bothered me], not his accent.)

Good point.

I think that the criticism levelled at Chris is due to his monotone rather than his origins though.

Personally I don't have a favourite out of the two of them, I don't mind either candidate.

I'm just glad the heinous Jamie has gone. His voice really grated on me as I felt that he was 'explaining' everything as he feared that everyone else just wasn't up to the task of meeting his great intellect.

I find nasal voices like Stella's annoying also, and if that makes me a "snob" too then so be it.

You're bang on about Jamie. He over explained everything and tied himself in knots doing it. I think he was a pretty weak candidate as well.

I've always liked Chris, so I do want him to win - and he's the real "apprentice" out of the two of them; Stella's already successful in business. Believe it or not, I did actually like Stella until I noticed how the more she got the kid-glove treatment in the boardroom, the more smug she seemed to become and it all just feels like it's too predictable now.

Thank you Eve
My dislike has nothing to do with snobbishness.
It has a lot to do with taste.
Perhaps some people are simply not discerning etc.....

Lol that's what happens when someone is more popular than the other. As Stella is more popular than Chris, there are more people than go on the defense when someone says something bad about Stella.

My critism with Stella is she doesn't take enough risks, something which is important for an entreprenuer to have. Other than that, I like her and think she will win though I would prefer Chris to win.

She is certainly clever, and quick on her feet, and gave better than she got to the interviewers. She maybe good at admin, and running a company using someone else's ideas. But I havent at all noticed in any of the task any of her own. Standing in the window, may have been her own but I somehow doubt it. She is honest, reliable and trustworthy more than any of the others. But depending on the role LS has for her which I think will be PR, I cant see where she will fit in. We still dont know her exact position in the bank, except that it must have now been filled by someone else and that she is dispensible. I did rate her from the start and considered her a dark horse. But now at the end of the series, I think others were better than her.
Chris I just dont seem to trust him.”

I can't agree that Stella was a passenger. We don't see what everyone does on every task, but we've certainly seen her taking decisions and coming up with ideas. OK, not all her ideas and decisions are good (eg going to Knightsbridge for a truffle) but she does have and make them.
