Chris-revered scholar "droning" on

Is his the most monotonous voice on the Apprentice ever?
Another great when he revealed his theology results were at A level Margaret was as droll as ever with the raised eyebrow.

Yes, I wondered about that He's apparently intelligent, yet didn't seem to understand that saying he is a revered theologian when he only got an A level in it was a tad too far. It was even funnier when he then went on to say he was revered by his classmates That was one of the funniest parts of the interviews for me! You just know for the rest of his days he will always be introduced as Chris, the revered something or other

If he really thought he was a revered theologian on the basis of his A level results that would be worrying.

The fact that the he's calling on his status as a 'revered theologian' to support his application to be the Apprentice is just odd.

I was once revered by my classmates for writing a 'witty' song about a lad who smelled a bit in year 7, I am sooo applying next year.

I think this exposes a common factor amongst apprentice applicants. It's not enough to have gotten good results, you must be revered. It's not enough to be a person, you have to be a brand. Basically, a lot of them put wild claims on their CV's which they cannot back up at the interview stage, and most of them have completely forgotten what they said anyway

I will chuckle about Chris being a revered scholar for some time to come

I was quite chuffed when he used this as a positive, I'm the same age as Chris and was led to believe my R.S mark at A-Level was in the top 5- maybe it was something they told everybody!

Not sure that I was 'revered' though

What the exam boards actually tell you is that your mark is one of the top five marks; e.g. it may be that 20 people get 100%, 50 people get 99%, 60 get 98%, etc., so hundreds of people may end up with one of the top five marks!

If my understanding of theology is correct, he didnt seem to make much use of it on the tasks.
