I Wanted Stella and Jamie in the Final - How About You??
Was very pleased Stella made it through to the final as I'd like to see her win - but last night I went out of the room, came back and my son said Jamie had been fired!
![]() I would have liked to see him in the final instead of boring, droning Chris. ![]() Thought Jamie was very good in particular as the Tour Guide - in terms of throwing himself and his personality into it (that showed in his tips) - even though he might have cocked up a few of his lines/facts. Anyone else picked Stella and Jamie for the last two? |

No I wanted Joanne and Chris
Stella is too bland for my liking and Jamie was useless. However saying that stella did well last night so deserved her place in the final, I jsut perfer Chris to win now, I think hes shown more than stella, for me stella has been under the rader too much. |

I'd expected to see Stella and Jamie in the final and I was very surprised to see how united everyone was in their criticism of Jamie. I thought he had done a good job so far.
I was very surprised to see it was Chris that made the final. Very happy for Stella though... |

Jamie was in danger of following Stuart into the "you're full of sh!t" comments. His cliches were wearing thin a few weeks ago and it was a few cliches too far last night.
The stuff about his parents not pushing him academically so thats why his grades were poor was quite bizarre too I didn't see the "final five" profiles programme - is he estranged from his parents?

Jamie started off well but other than the London Bus Tour task he was rubbish these past few weeks.

Chris was the only one I knew would definitely make the final. Jamie fell apart at the interviews and doesn't seem to be able to fight his corner well in the boardroom - was inevitable he had to go unfortunately. I would've probably preffered any of the others to take Stella's place in the final though, imo she should have been fired last week.

Jamie was rubbish. The final should have been any combination of Stella / Joanna / Liz.

Jamie was never going to be in the final. Lee may have lied on his CV, but at least he didn't attempt any third nipple jokes.
That said, I'd hire him over Chris any day. I wouldn't want no Steady Eddie.

Me too! Although i like stella she is a bit wooden and would have prefered man and man in the final so would have put jamie and chris through.

The right two got through imho. I liked Joanne early on as she seemed entrepreneurial having set up her own business, but the way it came across in the interviews where she didn't want to grow the company showed her limitations.

Chris has rarely impressed me during the tasks. Yes, he did good with his 20% offer - quality marketing does cost, but does pay out - but i tend to think that was a bit of luck.
However, he has been particularly astute in many of his comments and observations, and has probably been the most effective candidate in the boardroom. Needs to do something about his voice though. He should be taught how to speak with a smile. |

No to Jamie - he kept speaking in cliches. Nothing he said actually had any substance (he did this alot on tasks as well when speaking to potential customers and clients). Plus the constant smirk on his face made him come across as shifty and smarmy. And I do think he played the blame game a bit.
Not a good candidate. Both Chris and Joanna gave better interviews. |

I think the final 2 are bad enough without throwing Jamie into the equation...

Stella v Chris is fine.
Jamie - chancer. Anyone can (and did) borrow money in times of plenty and buy property. Then take a dive. Jo - you can google Alan Sugar ffs. And she really should have done. Stu - a pony whose tricks didn't include honesty. |

I'm so happy Stella is in the final but last night I realized how annoying I find Chris. His mumbly pompous voice grates on me no end.
Out of the final 5, I would have wanted Stella vs Joanna in the final I think. I liked Jamie, but he seems to allow his confidence to be knocked very easily. |

Out of the final five, I'd hoped for Stella and Joanna in the final. Joanna's weaknesses were painfully exposed in the interviews, though, and Chris probably was a better choice than Stuart or Jamie. I don't think Jamie was ever as great as they say he was, but he did struggle in many of the later tasks. His screw-up over the hotel appointment in the crisp task should really have seen him go instead of Christopher IMO.
