Maybe it was the editing but it seemed they were not as nasty to Stella and went quite gentle with her

Not at all. She was just more effective at countering criticism. She didn't get flustered easily.

Plus she made life easier for herself by filling out her CV properly and truthfully.

There was less to trip her up with in the first place.

She's more experienced than the others and has learned to be unflappable. That may also be her nature. I'm sure they tried to rile her for the sake of 'good' telly.

No she told them off. When asked about making friends she said thats not whats it about. She has more sense than them. I am sure they tried hard thats their job. But she knew how to answer them. Good for her.

two things I think

1. She dealt with it very well, was unflappable.
2. There wasn't much to trip her up with in the first place.

I do think the interviewers found it a lot harder to pick holes in Stella than any of the others, and that's why she's such a strong finalist.

The interviewers undoubtedly tried to pick holes in her CV....but there were obviously no holes to pick.....and as others have suggested she just answered the questions given in the manner expected of a professional applicant.

The feed-back in the boardroom implied she had been an exemplary employee and had done all that was asked of her by her employers....and then some.......So the only negative point was that she had`t worked for a entrepreneur like Lord Sugar.......I think interview panel know Stella is a safe bet.....no doubt Sugar feels the same......So on that basis we can assume she does`t win.

Can't tell. The editing of the Interviews was appalling.

She was honest in her CV and application form wasn't full of get-me-on-tv type answers. It was probably hard to pick holes.
