Matt deserves a Cheeseball, not a Glitterball

With the three finalists we have remaining, it should be a fab night of dancing. Any of them could still win it imo.

I am a huge Matt fan but will be voting for Kara if she outdances Matt on Saturday. I am always puzzled how people can say who they are definately voting for I love Matt and I want him to win but if he dances less well than Kara she shouid be the winner.

They have Matt a slight favourite over Kara. They usually find a way to get inside information, so I would take it as one of the best guesses.

Kara may have had fewer votes recently and Matt more, because of their positions on the judges leaderboard, so I think its really close.

All anyone can do is vote for the person they want to win and fate will take its course.......After my favourites not winning most years (but not all thankfully) I have learnt that your favourite winning or not winning actually makes very little difference at the end of the day.....Although I would really like Kara to win if Matt wins its the will of the voters (just as it would have been if Ann had won) so long as they then dont want to make Matt a judge or replace Bruce I wouldnt be too bothered once the initial dissapointment had wained.

See my post above...........there was absolutely no way that there wasnt going to be a big spike in the votes after the judges trashed him and reduced him to tears.......I expect Matt di Angelo got an enormous boost in votes too its the nature of the beast but it doesnt mean it carrys on.

But you unconsciously relax because you preceive her a being safe, even though she wasn't. There were lots of posts on Saturday about how Matt's fans had frantically voted numerous times because he was in the dreaded middle of the leaderboard.

I think also that lots of Kara fans assume that she is more popular than Pamela. Whether this is right or not, I don't know, but you look at the leaderboard when deciding whether to vote and you think that probably Gavin, Scott and Pamela are all going to get less votes than Kara so she should be safe. Dangerous game, I know, but it's certainly been in my mind when voting in the past.

When Mark won they gave out two figures - the money raised from phone calls (back then going to Children in Need) and the number of voters in the final. I don't remember the detail but worked out that the number of votes on final night eclipsed the earlier weeks beyond the imagination. Whoever has been top could well not be in the final. So many people vote in the final that never voted before. I am one of those.

I will vote for the best dancing over the series and I am expecting that to turn out to be Kara.

I hope the glitterball is held aloft by Kara or Matt. I know I'll be delighted for the winner - but I'lll feel for the runner up to come so far and fall at the last hurdle.

Kara's fans have rightly been incensed at some of the nastiness directed at her - but I also find your spiteful comments about Matt equally unacceptable.

There's really no need for that kind of comments.

We are in for a great final of dancing, and most of us have their favourites and will vote for them as many times as they can afford, hoping they lift that tacky glitterball. But the world will not end if they won't.

Unless of course...

Would be a shame if Kara did not win. A win for Matt would be a bit like a better version of Chris from last year, Kara is something rare and special, so would be nice to see rewarded and applauded.

Occasionally the best dancer wins but only if they happen to also be the most popular person too (ie Mark Ramprakash)

I do think it's likely to be Matt ... I imagine it's mostly ladies who vote and he fits the bill in as much as he seems a lovely person and is a good dancer.

I would prefer it to be Kara but at least, if Matt wins, I won't feel as let down as last year and I know my Mum is voting for him like crazy.

A lot of SCD has felt rather tacky this year, so it would be wonderful for Kara's beautiful dancing and Artem's equally beautiful choreography to win through.
