http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/...-x-factor.html

Best part:
The tabloid reports that the singer was surrounded by women all evening, with one saying: "I don't know what it is, but there's something about Wagner that's very sexy."
Never a truer word spoken!

Best of luck to him, but I can't see it happening.

Well, Jedward are apparently coining it in compared to Joe, so why not?

He is the Lord of Sexiness, and keen to spread his Loaf.

Jedward have a massive fanbase in Ireland, where I imagine the majority of their income comes from. Wagner doesn't have that type of support here.
But again, to each their own.

Doubt it - Ireland's skint. i think their income is largely non-recording stuff such as PAs and advertising, but I could be wrong.

I believe you're right. Jedward're in South Africa right now earning several thousands advertising something. I've forgotten how much, but definitely more than 100K.

it's probably about an even split between touring/PA gigs and endorsement deals, depends which side of that you put merchandising sales maybe.

He deserves it, after all the sh*t he got. For being on the receiving end of Biffa's vitriol (on live TV!) alone he deserves to make a mil.

If he is, it WON'T be for the right reasons.

It will be because of love. What better reason could there possibly be?

Probably true. If you say "Matt" or "Rebecca", there are several who spring to mind. If you say "Wagner", there's only one I think of, and it isn't the composer

Wagner and Jedward sum up everything that's wrong with this farce of a show.

There is a difference between Wagner and Jedward.

Jedward had a proper fanbase that liked them, and they were loved by kids. Though many people disliked them, they had people voting because they did like the twins.

Wagner does not have a big a fanbase as Jedward does. He mainly got votes from people voiting as a kind of 'anti-x factor/cowell' vote, and that would not carry over into singles and tours.

All in all, no, he will not be the most famous. Not for his music anyway.
