Just caught up on the show yesterday, is it just me that thought even Alan, Karen and co thought he was an arse?
Everytime he gave his opinion everyone shot him down |

It seemed like he was having a terrible off day where everything he said just failed, I suppose Jamie and Joanna could be said to be having a similar day, although at least they talked some sense for some part (Jamie really came across like he was jsut in the pub talking to a mate totally not taking it for the serious interview that it was meant to be)

He was the only one who talked any sense. The one who looked into Stuart's licensing claims.
I like Stella, but she is just a high level PA. |

Perhaps Sugar is looking for a new Frances? Stella could ring up next season's candidates at 6am and guard the entry to the boardroom with a steely glare.

I like Stella, but she is just a high level PA. I rate Stella from this show and process. Personally I hope she wins. |

The whole point of having 4 people interviewing them was to get different perspectives, if they all agreed with each other the whole thing would be redundant as Karen or Nick could have offered the insight from first hand views of the tasks.

At one point it seemed like he was talking to save his job- not keen on him, you could see he didn't like Stuart, let his own bias overcome his 'objective' opinion. Were he not a tool he would have raised the licence issue but also noted the work that had gone in to creating the company. Karen might have been able to have got the license but I'm not sure she could have turned that into a profitable business- it requires a good level of technical knowledge. What Stuart did do was combined a geeky/techie knowledge with a Sales persona- he was right at the end in his cab interview, they didn't seem to understand what he was about.

Everytime he gave his opinion everyone shot him down Is it that LS has preferences for the outcome and Karen and Nick have to defend what he wants? Or do they have favourites or more information that we have not seen? Or do those two believe the show spin when it tells us things like Chris has had a very innovative negotiating idea? Do they actually have that good an idea of whats going on and why? Nick in particular has a record of being dismissive of real problems that people bring up - which suggests he doesn't actually understand that much. Watching the interviewers, I got the impression they saw a lot of potential in Joanna for a real apprentice's job, had marked Chris down as too risky and thin and were struggling for arguments to use against Jaimie. With Stuart they seemed too positive but what we saw didn't match the viriulence that LS drew from what they said, so who knows what was said. |

I like Borden, always have done. He seems to be able to do a harsh, incisive interview, which is, after-all, what this task is about, without going out of his way to be a [very rude word]
I've got respect for him. He's my favourite interviewer. |
