Is this a first?

If not, I must've missed all the others.

But even so, why do a show like this unless he wants to cover himself from any comeback?

He has certainly done it before but I don't know how often.

Jeez...all these years watching the Apprentice and I missed these shows

Anyway, now that I've watched just one of them, I'm still convinced that he's covering all bases and justifying his firings to keep himself all legal.

Otherwise, why bother doing them in the first place?

I think the pre-show contract means that anything he decides to do is legal!

Well of course. And probably including signing their souls away to the devil too.

It looked to me to be cheap filler to pad out the schedule instead of doing Question Time, it had very little extra content, just all the firings edited together with a bit of background for each. Once it got to the more interesting people the detail really fell away. I can't see how it would help cover anything legally.

Well if your opinion of it is correct, I still don't get why it had to be filmed at all

Was it for a further slotting of SA's ego if not to cover his ass in some way?

I mean, we could have had that hour slot of a serious journalist's findings put in place of him. Somebody like Jon Pilger for example.

Just want to add that Stuart has joined DS and added to a couple of threads that I've responded to. I've also advised that in his own interest that instead of arguing or debating one-to-one in these threads, that it would be better to just open a thread on his own and allow DS posters to question him.

I hope he takes my advice.

Unless he's been advised not to, of course.

Not many people posting on this site at all tonight.

Would be interesting to do a poll of tonight's postings and on which thread.

Would be fairly easy to compile a poll.

Its been done for several years. Its partly filler and partly tidying up.

It allowed him to re-edit and restate some decisions. It also allowed him to give better explanation of what went wrong in tasks - many of which sounded more like the majority view here and fuller than the original boardroom edits.

Most importantly. this time. it allowed him to explain his Stuart over Liz aberation again and then tidy it up by pointing out how that fitted with Stuart's firing. He's got as far as saying he discovered later what he missed the first time around a bit more clearly. Its an explanation even if there's more to the chronology or issues. He also gave Liz a good write up - without actually going quite all the way and apologising to her for being an idiot. The message is there that the final might be different if he hadn't mucked up, but he can't now say that loudly either without rerunning everything after that boardroom or tearing up the rule book in the last task.

There's also some signposting over whats entered the calculation between the last two (though its not clear if the weighting is shared by LS) Chris now gets some of Liz's credit for the record babyglo sale and his tourist agency negotiation keeps its "innovative " spin. Stella's truffles howler is there too. On the score sheet they choose to show, I would think Chris is a bit ahead. No one else gets a similar positive word about creativity thrown in about them and the record sale is now reattached to him. . That may be irrelevant , or not, given LS has got months of other evidence.

And most definitely on the sleeper type posts.

I.e. the ones that apparently have been here for donkey years..............but I've yet to recall what the heck they ever contributed.

They've done it every year at least since series 3.
I know because I've still got those episodes on tape as I enjoy watching the 'Why I Fired Them' episodes more than any other.

Maybe

You mean if there's anything needed to be known about what happened in a certain episode then I can go and find it with a bit of time. I've actually got all of series 3,4,5 on tape, and 6 too.

Let's see how things transpire.

However, I know you in another capacity altogether as trustworthy IMO, and totally respect you

You do?
Errr thanks.

Though you could probably get any facts you wanted to know about an episode from some random source on the internet.
It may even be on youtube.

hould

You should know very well about I.e. Will's thread on Mario. And where sticking together matters.

I don't proclaim to be right on this matter, but I have the right to ask if Will sees me wrong

I don't really read or post in that thread. LMAO

But I definitely know who you are, I just didn't realize you knew me.

The Apprentice is a very good distraction knowing that BB might not be back on our screens.

I did feel the same.
AS was covering up his own mistakes especially the immature way in which he sacked Stuart.
I couldn't care less who miserable miser Sugar hires in the end, they never stay around for long.

Exactly, we never hear about them ever again.

They probably get remorphed into some kind of SA's new technology Dr Who machine
