Its been done for several years. Its partly filler and partly tidying up.
It allowed him to re-edit and restate some decisions. It also allowed him to give better explanation of what went wrong in tasks - many of which sounded more like the majority view here and fuller than the original boardroom edits.
Most importantly. this time. it allowed him to explain his Stuart over Liz aberation again and then tidy it up by pointing out how that fitted with Stuart's firing. He's got as far as saying he discovered later what he missed the first time around a bit more clearly. Its an explanation even if there's more to the chronology or issues. He also gave Liz a good write up - without actually going quite all the way and apologising to her for being an idiot. The message is there that the final might be different if he hadn't mucked up, but he can't now say that loudly either without rerunning everything after that boardroom or tearing up the rule book in the last task.
There's also some signposting over whats entered the calculation between the last two (though its not clear if the weighting is shared by LS) Chris now gets some of Liz's credit for the record babyglo sale and his tourist agency negotiation keeps its "innovative " spin. Stella's truffles howler is there too. On the score sheet they choose to show, I would think Chris is a bit ahead. No one else gets a similar positive word about creativity thrown in about them and the record sale is now reattached to him. . That may be irrelevant , or not, given LS has got months of other evidence.
