No one has received more attention this year than Pamela Stephenson. Every week Billy Connolly (did you know that she's married to him? )
gets a cameo part on SCD, and even declaring that IF she wins, he will enter next year - (please NO!) isn't that arch manipulation??
Today she is on the front of the DM talking about 'sexing up' the final
And she also got a favourable mention on Classic FM this morning - I wonder who paid for that?
I thik Pamela has done extremely well, and I am NOT being patronising when I mention how good she is for her age - it is relevent and a credit to her - BUT for me, it has to be either Kara or Matt who hold up the SCD Trophy, I think they are both very talented and SO enjoyable to watch. Pamela has done well and deserves to be 3rd.

I bet you didn't know she was a "Doctor" too? They kept that quiet!

Unlike the fact that she had dance lessons with Bruno for NTNN

They probably think that that's the demographic that would be interested in her , Daily Mail and Classic FM. Kara has been in the Sun some I believe and Matt had a massive article and was on the front of the Daily Mail magazine last Saturday.

There is a long article in today's Telegraph. My husband was very annoyed - he doesn't like Strictly!

They made a point of mentioning that on Classic FM
Pamela has done really well, but I do hate such obvious manipulation.
But Ali F has a point, it depends on which publications you read to be really aware of the extent of media coverage each contestants gets.
I get the Mail on Saturday, but didn't read about Matt in their listings mag - must get it out of the bin and have a read.

My thoughts exactly. It's not like the other finalists have had no media coverage at all...Kara did a photoshoot for the DM yesterday, for example...

I really think I'm going to lose my patience if anyone cries 'fix' tonight - it's a public vote only, with 3 finalists who have made it (imo) the best-quality final since series 5, so whoever wins will have earned it

There's a big double page spread about Pamela's last week before the final (written by herself) in the Mail this morning.
It quite put me off my breakfast (big photo) just trying to avert my eyes from it.
Looks like there's a campaign to help her win.
This is a shame, as apart from just being the poorest of the three dancers, I find her artificial and I believe it's just faux sincerity.

no he hasn't, exagerating the facts does not help you make your point

Good article and gives a good insight to whats going on. She missed an opportunity to manipulate us by not mentioning the injuries before.

One week it's Matt crying about wanting 10s, then it's Scott with all his working woes, then it's Kara for having the sniffles and now it's Pamela for being married to a famous guy :yawn: I'm not a particular fan of her but can she really help what the producers do? And it certainly isn't inspiring me to vote for her, neither is her dancing so what's the big deal if they promote Pam or Matt or whoever a little? Doesn't make any difference.

I much rather she win than gurning Matt Baker! There is something so souless about the way he dances! Pamela has passion and so does Kara. Out of those two, I don't mind.

If you look through all the media I think you may find there are a few articles about all of the finalists today.

I don't agree with the way that they split it up. Why wouldn't a 72 year like Kara and not be keen on Pamela and why wouldn't a 19 year old like Matt and not be keen on Kara.
