Corrie 2010 Review
Just after seeing one for Hollyoaks so I said why not come up with one for Corrie
Here are my thoughts on the storylines and characters from 2010.Best Actor: Chris Gascoyne Best Actress: Alison King Most improved actor: Jack P Shepherd Most improved actress: Helen Flanagan Best story: Tram Crash Worst story: Gail in prison for Joe's Murder Best couple: Peter and Leanne Worst couple: John and Fiz Best triangle: Leanne/ Peter/ Carla Worst triangle: Can't think of one TBH! Most shocking twist: The reported 4th Tram Crash death actually being a red herring. Most preposterous plot: Again Gail being put in prison, so illogical. Biggest mistake: Axing Natasha Best adult: Steve McDonald Best under-18: Sophie Webster Worst adult: Kirk Sutherland Worst under-18: Chesney Battersby-Brown Best breakup: Sally and Kevin Worst breakup: Liz and Owen Most entertaining character: Mary Taylor Most boring character: John Stape Best villain: Tony Gordon Most tortured couple: Steve and Becky Biggest waste of talent: Michelle Keegan Most improved character: Rosie Webster Most ruined character: Michelle Connor Most missed character: Jack Duckworth Favourite newcomer: Owen Armstrong Best departure: Natasha Blakeman Best Stalwart: Rita Sullivan Best episode: The Live Episode Funniest moment: Mary and Norris' Rural Holiday Saddest moment: Jack's Death Best dramatic performance: Jane Danson Lifetime achievement: Bill Tarmey Sexiest male: Keith Duffy Sexiest female: Michelle Keegan What are people's thoughts? |

Nick appeared initially during Christmas 2009 but left and came back again in 2010- more's the pity. It's a shame because the character has been given some very worthwhile plots but Ben Price is just a hopeless actor IMO.

OK let's have a bash at this:
Best Actor: Bill Tarmey...very understated but human Best Actress: Sally Dynevor...by far! Most improved actor: Antony Cotton!! (never thought I'd say it) Most improved actress: Helen Flanagan (I like Rosie now!) Best story: The latter Collinson half of Molvin or maybe Natasha's downfall Worst story: Bloody Becky and Kylie Best couple: Ken and Deirdre! Worst couple: Gail and Joe Best triangle: Tina/Graeme/David Worst triangle: Leanne/Peter/Nick (awful) Most shocking twist: Ashley's death 9I expected it but it was still horrifying and shocking to watch) Most preposterous plot: Tracy becoming cellmates with Gail. Biggest mistake: Axing Natasha Best adult: Rita Sullivan Best under-18: Rosie if she's under 18, if not then Sophie. Worst adult: Becky Worst under-18: Chesney (weak actor now the cuteness is gone) Best breakup: Sally and Kevin Worst breakup: Molly and Tyrone take one Most entertaining character: Charlotte Most boring character: Sunita Best villain: Tony Gordon Most tortured couple: Fiz and John Biggest waste of talent: Anna Windass Most improved character: Rosie Webster Most ruined character: Steve McDonald (split him from awful Becky PLEASE) Most missed character: Blanche Favourite newcomer: Owen Best departure: Ashley Peacock Best Stalwart: Rita Sullivan Best episode: Jack's death Funniest moment: Charlotte and John hiding Colin Fishwick Saddest moment: Blanche's funeral Best dramatic performance: Jane Danson Lifetime achievement: Bill Tarmey Sexiest male: Gray o brien! (the girlfriend's choice...perhaps I need to inflate my eye) Sexiest female: Sally Dynevor is bizarrely sexy to me |
