To be fair, Shibby is cringing in a 'can't believe I'm actually saying this' way.

'Everything I touch turns to sold'.

A bit clever and might have worked if he'd actually been a good salesman.

Some of Lord Sugar's lines have been pretty cringey. Especially that climate change hot air one.

Yeah; that one was really bad.

And I think many of us know that the 'apprentices' have actually been fed their lines by the producers.

Stuart busting a gut to prove he could count in German and getting it wrong...

He said Elf Zwelf, for 11 and 12, it is actually Elf, Zwolf...

I got my german 'O' level (cough 25 years ago cough), so that makes an expert

I think the worst one was "Shibby's Angels". Not just for the line itself, but for the way he was obviously trying to celebrate with the two girls, and they barely even seemed to notice he was there.

Well, it was longer ago for me, but I used to live there. The "o" in Zwolf" has a couple of umlauts above it which do, indeed, make it be pronounced more like "zwelf" than "zwolf". What he got wrong was missing out 17 (IIRC).

The one about oranges in apple pies. Just awful!

Really? I actually liked the climate change one.
I mean obviously he was just waiting for a chance to say it, but I still think it's witty.

The mummy-money line was hands down the worst for me. Shibby took the bullshit to a whole new level.

Shibby's ridiculous 'my first words were money' line is possibly the worst line EVER on the apprentice, not just on this series.

He didn't miss it, but he did get it wrong - said "siebenzehn," when it's actually "siebzehn."

Easy mistake to make, though. Minor. And yeah, zwolf sounded right to me.

It has one umlaut over it

Maybe its because our German teacher was Yorkshire.

Shibby suggesting to the guy he only brought 16 bread rolls to that he could tell his customers to go on the Atkin's diet.

I thought it was funny but soooooooo not the right place and so unprofessional. lol

Shibby was quite funny. He did an impression of Alex on the golf course (if I recall) and it was very funny.

I can understand that a managerial type might not have the best knowledge, but what cracked me up was the way that he thought he was being holier than thou in saying it. It might help to check that you're correct before you preach about it!

(Internet Service Protocol on its own may be a simple slip of the tongue, but I'm not even sure what he was trying to say when he said "it provides telecoms over bandwidth")
