If Pamela was slim and had elegant figure like Kara, she might had a chance. Pamela's foot work was much better than Kara I thought.
I liked Kara's hair style. Pamela looked older with long hair down.
I never noticed about her make up. I thought people might rather irritated by her looking happy all the time.

Pamela was not "ridiculously overmarked" IMO. That's very much a matter of opinion and I doubt it was relevant at all.
Kara was a deserving winner. Pamela should have come second though, as she was more consistent than Matt overall and she was not deadly dull like him.
On a TV show, someone said that Matt would make a good husband, which is why they were supporting him. How insane.
I think Pamela was a bit OTT for a lot of people, and James is not a popular pro. Kara was a great dancer and Matt was...great husband material. I'm just disappointed that they didn't get to perform their AT.
