The judges went so overboard with Pamela and her 10's. Early on in the series I wanted her to win. She danced well, but for some reason for the last two or three weeks I got bored of her and I can't figure out why. I feel so mean but when she came on it takes two I just thought "oh here we go" when she spoke, I found her tedious and felt annoyed by her. I was dissapionted with her showdance. It seemed so easy and not original at all, most of it was straight out of dirty dancing, but this was James' fault. Her charleston was more of a showdance. But ending on a positive, she did deserve her third place and I did like her for most of the series.

she surpassed herself with that speech to james.

Only in the judges opinions

Maybe not even that.
I still wonder whether there is method in their apparent madness. The effusive comments for Kara showed that they knew she was one of the best dancers ever to grace SCD (if not THE best).
There may be some psychology at work in the way they construct the leader board.

I pretty much agree with everything you said, I love the way she threw herself wholeheartedly into everything and had the most fun doing it.

But I hated all the fake-LA gushing. All that, "shucks, me, really?" while clutching her throat in mock surprise, it just came off as so fake. If she could have toned that down, I think she would have been more popular despite the judges' blatant overmarking.

She was far from my favourite - but it's all over now.

Time for the bashing to stop perhaps.

At the end of the day the best dancer won

But Pamela gave it an incredible bash imo and more than deserved a third place finish.

Are people still having a pop at Pamela

I really do not see the need for it imo, the best dancer of the series won and the right 3 couples made the final what more can people ask for, yes Pammie may have been overmarked on occasion that's up to your own opinion but that isn't her fault she just went out there and did her best, i think she should of made 2nd but that is my own personal opinion, everyone else is allowed their own personal views and comments i just feel sometimes thing spiral out of control on here and people say hurtful and harsh thing's that really should not be brought up, personal attacks on contestants is just not nice, after all it is only a light hearted entertainment show, and it certainly entertained me for the 12 weeks it was on my television screen. The best series of SCD yet and i am looking forward to seeing many more under the hands of the new revamped system and producer Moira Ross

Rant Over, thank you and goodnight

It's not about having a pop at Pamela. The judges overmarking of her dances and manipulation of the leader board are not her fault.
Don't ask people not to comment. It is an apparent injustice and this is the place where people voice their opinions on it.
No, personal attacks are not nice at all, but many of the comments are not of that ilk.

I think she has an easy time on Strictly, with reagrd to judges comments.

I only remember once (after the jive?) the comments weren't as good and she was really down that week.

So she didn't get to experience the crushing blows undermarking and hard comments that the other two couples had to get through.

Yes indeed. She was more than well worth her marking. Others lost marks for errors and illegality. She didn't.

She deserved to be second if there had been a second. She was stupendous.

Indeed Pamela should have won, but as always the public voted for the youngest ones yet again.

Kara & Arten's "relationship" was the main reason they won clearly

I agree. The judges were very easy on her. They rarely pointed out her mistakes and stumbles, and I can't believe nobody commented on her ugly leg lines in lifts. Both in the AS and her showdance, when she was lifted she just let her leg dangle and didn't point her foot at all.

Nothing to do with their dancing then?

There's no 'should' have won about it - the result is dictated by the public vote and Kara won that: therefore she had every right to emerge victorious.
