I don't she's good enough for the show actually - I thought she should be let go after last year, even more so now.

It certainly stop-started from a gymnastic point of view. it also looked like there was a big lift missing, when she sort of climbed over him, between his upstretched arms.

To the "spectacularly" narrow mind, they did.

I disliked them all. Karas was under rehearsed and she woul have been better with a more tango/paso based option. I still think with more time this could have been much better though. Matts was so Blue Peter. Pams was rubbish too - safe, but executed nowhere near her ability on the dance floor. Nowhere near a 10. They were all executed at a 6 score for me (although the content of Kara and Matts was much much higher than that)

No idea what happened with the costumes since ITT - Karas was completely different!

Matt and Kara's show dances, so disappointed with both of them.

Why, oh why, oh why didn't he just let her dance? He didn't need a flashy routine to showcase her talent. She's a spellbinding dancer - she don't need no frills and fancy stuff.

I agree, I was so disappointed with both Artem and Aliona's choreography, they both tried too hard!

James on the other hand, although he didn't stretch Pamela to the point of mistakes and dodgy timing, managed to tell a fabulous story (was I the only one to get that it was NOT the Dirty Dancing routine but a story of their dance journey through the weeks, starting with their week 1 waltz?) and added lifts where necessary, not just for the sake of it. I think only Camilla has been more clever with her showdance choreography, and she didn't feel the need to use a million lifts either. The rules do not say 'you must do loads of lifts and tricks'!

Matt and Kara's left me feeling flat. Pamela's didn't excite me, but it didn't leave me disappointed either. The one decent spot in a bad year for showdances.

Thing is, I can't even vote! Only managed to vote once, for Kara! Can you believe it?! Now the phone line is frozen. Someone in another thread said Kara injured her arm doing the showdance, which was why only two couples were present with Tess towards the end. I HATE you, Artem! Why?

Matt had no dancing in it - Kara had very little dancing and some dreadful lifts that they both missed, and Pamela's routine was just a rip off. I have Dirty Dancing on DVD if I want to watch that - and Patrick does it so much better!

Had a few engaged lines, but apart from that have lost count of how many times I've voted.

I'm still optimistic. Astounded by how many people I've spoken to over the last week or so who are completely rapt by Kara. I thought it was just me that got all emotional and tearful the minute she takes to the floor - but it ain't!! She's definitely something special.

I think she might have hurt her arm doing the backflip. She kind of buckled when doing it and it threw her off for the first 1/4 of the routine. I honestly thought at one point near the start that she'd forgotten the routine.

Artem should have done something more classy and elegant - I'm so disappointed with it. The backflip was a massive risk (and totally unneccesary), all the lifts were just too much and Kara just looked lost for a lot of the time. Artem knows she needs 4 full days to learn a routine - he should have scaled it all down a bit.

I'm not sure I remember a worse year for showdances.... so disappointing all round.

Still...... I've been voting like a trooper. Kartem are still winners for me. Rubbish showdance or not.

Just glad hubby is currently watching Barcelona and not noticing the amount of time I'm spending on the phone without actually talking to anybody!

She should be alright though as she has the waltz and AS if she gets through, and no way is that a certainty after that , but AS lifts apart, her hand will stay in ballroom hold most of the time, I just hope it doesn't ruin her lines.

He is lucky the other showdances were not all that good, though Pamela's was the best in execution.
