If Matt & Kara's offerings were an example of something original, I'm glad Pam was made to play it safe.

Brendan & Natasha used the music & did the lift

I suppose it comes down to what you think a showdance is...Pamela and James just done another movie week rehash it could have been from any of the last few weeks shows....dull, unimaginitive...I have got more enjoyment watching the kettle boil.

As far as I saw there was only one little section taken from DD and as previous posters have pointed out it was part of their salsa.
This hate towards Pamela & James is really getting on my wick and makes me want them to win even more.

Most ridiculous statement I've ever heard

Show dances are not suppose to original << instead >> of being good

Nothing should be original <<instead>> of being good

3 elephants taking a dump on backseat of a bus is 'original' - but nobody wants to see it because it's 'original'

When will anyone ever realise that 'originality' is often good/refreshing but 'originality' does not stand up in it's own right - it has to be <<both>> original and good

In the case of SCD the show dance should be the icing on their cake (which includes being "good")

I understand the point you're making, but the judges frequently criticise routines for being 'safe' and in the final, if you don't take risks with the show dance, pushing boundaries, you won't progress.

I agree that 'different' doesn't necessarily equate to 'brilliant' but I'd rather see risk takers than couples playing it totally safe - it is meant to be entertaining, after all.

I thought Pamela and James did the best of all 3 showdances. None of them were a patch on Team Cola's from last year though!
