Len Goodman should go and pickle his walnuts - permanently. What a grumpy bum! I wouldn't put him near the milk.
Bruno - an over-the-top, hyperactive show-off. Saving grace - he can be very funny. Alesha Diction - a very beautiful woman who spoils herself everytime she opens her mouth. Such an expert - studied ballroom and Latin for three months. On this criteria I would like to see Kara as a judge next year. She is a far, far better dancer than AD.Craig - too picky by half. He should be judging the how the celebrity dances - not the choreography. Same goes for Pickled Walnuts. No It Takes Two on Monday. ![]() ![]() ![]() The content of Alesha's comments was NEVER meant to be technical, right from the outset, right from the very first press release (go back and look for yourself). She was put in to "represent the viewpoint of ordinary people" and she only started putting in technically-based comments when viewers complained to the BBC that she wasn't doing them. Alesha has certainly earned her place on next year's panel, which should keep Craig, lose the globe-trotting two and bring in at least one more woman, one of our ex-pros for preference. |

Alesha hands out 10's like sweeties , always has her favourites and it shows, for example all the 10's she gave Scott even when he was rubbish.
Bruno behaves like an excitable child with a sugar rush Len is picky about phaffing about with some yet ignores it in others Craig has double standards. He says he only gives 10's for perfection, Then hands a 10 to Kara after they both knew she was not perfect in her last dance. It's the inconsistancy that annoys me. |

Tonight, whatever score the judges gave counted for nothing so what does it matter? I thought they were OK, I don't expect to agree with them on everything or for them to agree with eachother. If I remember correctly, they scored Pamela very high but the public voted more for the other two, it really was GBP power for once! The judges knew their comments and scores were not going to be counted.
If any of them left and we had a new judge or judges next year, I am sure they would come in for the same criticism as the present bunch. Arlene was heavily criticised on this forum though she had her fans too. The judges aren't meant to be anyone's particular friend. As for having favourites amongst the contestants, during the course of the series I thought several couples seemed to be favourite at one point or another. |

If you don't like Alesha's accent, I visibly cringe every toime Len owpens is marff. Cannot stand Cockney or East London when it's overdone. Len has been interviewed on Radio with only 50% of that accent - so he can tone it down if he wants to. On Strictly, he turns it up!!
As for the judge's scores last night, Bruce and Tess were constantly saying that their scores didn't matter in the final, so if they were over-marking or under-marking it wasn't that important - and the judges knew it. If Craig wanted to give Kara a 10 for old times sake, so be it. He wouldn't have done it before the final. I did think Len's 7 for Kara was a bit mean and unexpected but in the end, Kara won the competition and was probably the right choice to do so. The judges make the show particularly entertaining for me - especially Craig and Bruno.
