Thank you and well done to James and Pamela indeed! The VW was beautiful last night and one of my favourite dances of the series and I have to admit, I was sad not see their Argentine Tango. Basically I wanted all three of them in that final right up until the very end, and preferably beyond so I could see all of them dance every single dance! Lovely to see someone unexpected do well this year- who would have guessed in the launch show that a 61 year old psychologist would give some of the best performances of the series? James' choreography and Pamela's enthusiasm made this partnership a memorable and a successful one for me.

Should we tweet a link to this thread to Pammie and James? I think it would make them smile.

I always liked them throughout but went a bit cool towards the end I think when my support for Kara grew. I would have liked to see her come second....I am really happy that James has faced his demons and finally gone a long way into the competition. I am not normally a overmarked/undermarked type person as its the leaderboard that is all important to me....however I dont think the judges did her many favours in the end.

That is a very good point. Although I greatly admired her stamina and joie de vivre, her age was irrelevant to the quality of her dance and interpretation of the music. That Viennese Waltz was beautiful.

In another year she could easily have won it. This was an excellent series.
