forgive me if I'm wrong but...

Ok I have read but not really contributed to the forum throughout the series

IMO

I dont get what most of you were playing at with Pamela..and again IMO so if you dont agree with me thats fine, but she came on a journey regardless of what she did 20 million years ago with NTNN (or whatever) she still didn't have a great deal of experience or recent practice, as opposed to kara. And also the judges were up her so called backside from week one. And IMO from what some of you have said, you're only "hatred" of pamela has come from her editing at bbc, i.e. did you know she was 61, and married to billy connolly blah blah. hell effing o, unless pamela held a gun to their heads its unlikely she made them edit her that way...her fault?? No?

Matt
IMO was probably the weakest in terms of experience of all the finalist in terms of dance, yes he had that whole gymnastics background which he played on fully throughout the showdance which IMO did not deserve a 7 from Craig (and if he was dead set on not giving a 10 to Kara till her repeat and somewhat weaker repeat performance according to Len who I always agree with), however he did equal kara tonight, judges seemed a bit blindsided especially alesha who has lost credibility as a judge yet again for me!!

Kara
She seems to have had previous experience from a special I watched her in a few years ago, and her acting helped (not saying scott/felicity/patsy not too) however, and again this is IMO she seemed to mark every dance, there was no real emotion, no matter what she did the judges unless its craig discounting final dance were always going to praise her because, noone that judges have ever loved has ever really won besides jill? IMO what got me about kara initially was the fact that she has h'obviously been in a relationship with artem. Now before you judge, yes it cant be proved and no i am 100 percent, but artem kissed her convincingly in final dnace, and the way he was touchy feely with her on ITT last night was very disturbing. besides brendan/natasha no other winning couple has ever relied on this which is why I don't really entertain it.

This years strictly a fix from many perspectives?

c4k, would be better if you tried to make one or two simple points per post rather than ramble on.

Kara hurt her wrist doing the backflip in the showdance tonight, so for her final two dances doing any move must have been agony. Sorry you missed "emotion" - her smile was totally professional masking the "ouch" of what she was really feeling. And Artem was grateful to her for pulling it off, hence his very real emotion and tears of relief at the end of the show.

Of course, you could always have been watching another show;.......

I agree with many of your comments especially about matts performance tonight and about pamela

yes of course dorabella I was judging based on just one week I am that fickle. If I'm being totally honest I backed scott from the start, but really base my voting this week on who comes on a journey out of all of them (regardless of hurt wrists, and fake VT tears) Matt and Pamela tonight clearly showed they were behind in experience but excelled in their strengths, but were fantastic. in both dances, esp pamela, I dont understand how someone who topped voting lost out and came third, but then how should I know, I "ramble on"

edit: topped initial judges vote

c4k dont talk nonsense. Kara was streets ahead of the rest and was a deserving winner, its obvious. Im not reading threads like this anymore because its just pointless

No, its done by public vote! Artistry, musicallity and audience appreciation all come into play.

So, should anyone that has ever done the "birdies Song" be banned from entering due to previous dance experience?
Should all vocalist in the Xfactoer never have sung a note before?

Is it so ridiculous to think that people will have had previous experience of "life" before such a show or should we all have really voted for Paul Danials for going on the biggest journey?

She certainly was a deserving winner but any of the three would have been

I think Matts journey has been more memorable though

in your opinion though I've watched every series of SCD supported Most, in fact besides tonight all winners, to me, and it may differ from your opinion, but then thats a forum for you, its about a journey for me, explain the journey kara (aka judges favourite) has been on from beginning to end?

the final is done by public vote completely yes. and ugh i hated paul daniels, he was completely wrong for the show, and this is someone who grew up with his magic show,. Musicality yes Kara had it, I wont disagree with you, i'd understand it if I had said she was a pish dancer, but I didn't, what I did say was that I felt that there was very little emotion for me, again tonight, kara felt a little like she was marking it to me, and also did she not do the rhumba last week so technically one less dance to re-learn as hard as others

On another thread there are views that Kara has damaged or broken her scaphoid bone in her wrist (check this out
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scaphoid_bone).

Now I've played violin in a concert with left wrist damaged from a fall while alpine skiing, and not only was I unable to smile, my language was pretty blue to anybody who came near me and my icebag. So for me, Kara - on top of illness which robbed her of the necessary practice time to make her backflip smoothly - was a real trooper to perform at all. remember Laila Roussa being carried off the floor by Anton??

So how anybody could begrudge her her victory really staggers me.

If you want to bash Kara just do it and save everyone this pseudo rationale in an attempt to cover up what you are doing.

I think the impact of Craig's 10 might well have swung it. I wish they would give us the voting figures. In an ideal world there would one more episode of ITT to analyse what actually happened in terms of the public vote.

So, you always agree with Len. Len gave Kara a 6 for her AS last time, so was he correct in giving it a 7 this time, though it was weaker?

And if you did read the boards you will have seen that all finalists this year had experience. Matt did the jive and paso for a BP challenge, training in part with Darren and Lilia and also dancing in a 70s dance troupe. Pamela dance in NTNON, and in an article mentioned all the dances she has tried since. Kara, aside from some training in stage school I expect, trained for a week with noted Latin specialist Mark Ramprakash. Either bash all for previous experience, or accept that all have it and move on.
