Well, there was a dificulty last time with interiewing them both, and unfortunately I suspect that it may be the same if I try again. I was actually commissioned by a magazine to interview them the first time, and the aim had been to interview both of them. It wasn't an issue with availability; something else that we couldn't get over and so it wasn't to be....

They will have a break for Christmas now, and then begin rehearsals for the tour, but I might be able to interview Artem again if people want to read it ?

Yes I agree - but what a trooper to have such a smile in those photographs - and to have danced twice more, with torn ligaments in her arm. usually pain has a way of showing itself in your face but not Kara's... that's adrenaline for you !

Well, thank GOD the show dance was moved earlier in the evening. Otherwise, these winners shots would have had Kara in the horrible white outfit, rather than this gorgeous dress.

Cheryl, just wanted to say a BIG thank you for posting all the photos each week - I've really enjoyed looking at the stills, espcially in large screen format, and they've become part of the whole Strictly ritual for me this year.

Started to read and enjoy other parts of Ballet News too!

Dancing Cake - that is so lovely to hear, thank you. Some people on this forum have been less than pleasant and on several occassions I have thought twice about posting links to the photos, but since I enjoy them and I know that most of the feedback is positive, I carried on. It's so gratifying to know that it's appreciated because it's actually a time-consuming process every weekend.

And, if you have branched into other areas of Ballet NEWS, well, that is a very welcome bonus. I hope you'll be back often and suggest articles that you'd like to read about too.
