No doubt there was an odd number of candidates left and leaving baggs out was a decision to satisfy all. Neither stella nor chris want him, he's fallen out big time with both of them previously, and sugar thinks he's full of shit.

I want him.

i don't think he's full of Shit. i think that highlighted part of his CV was totally unjust. his credentials have been totally annihalated by the BBC. I'd be spitting nails if i was him. bet he feels totally let down by the producers of that program.

you can't tell me that part of his CV was not looked at before he went on that program. that episode when he was being interviewed is absolutely horrendous. You only have to look at the people doing the interviews to know Stuart was on his way out. They were not interviews, That was Sir Alans henchmen/women getting rid of Stuart. totally ridiculous not to shake his hand. I would never do business with a vindictive guy like that Claude Littner, what a nasty man!!

He wasn't the only one that was left out - I can think of at least 3 others who weren't there too. I can't recall their names clearly but they're all female, I think one of them was called Laura - the one who told Boots she didn't want to give exclusivity on a product she was TM on.

Laura wasn't there, Sandeesh wasn't there, nor was Joy. Dan failed to be asked, as did Raleigh (which is a pity, as he never got a chance to shine: only remembered hiim when I saw him in the audience).
One left, name escapes me. Is that right? (Takes out StuBaggs Invis-Calculator ....) 2 finalists + 4 helpers each = 10 + 5 mentioned above = 16 leaves 1?
Anyone know who that was?

Have you got Melissa's calculator by mistake?! The 6th name you're seeking is Stuart!

quite agree- producers spotted him as being thick skinned, essentially gave them carte blanche to do what they liked, so long as he doesn't try hurt himself as a result (which he wont)

Dara O'B was right about why he gets attacked, because he always comes back. It is a shame that some one who has clearly worked hard from a young age and who has an enthusiasm for what they do gets so completely slated by the people too scared to break out of a comfortable life-

particularly dislike comedians taking the piss out of him, I would be embarrased if it was my job to just shoot other people down- no wonder they are such (in general) unhappy unfulfilled people. The funnier the comedian the worse they were bullied.

The other MIA was Joy, who was fired in episode 2. ETA - sorry, you mentioned Joy

It's been a while since last years show, but didn't the winner of that get caught telling a much bigger lie than that and obviously got away with it?

What with the weird firing decision the week before the semi-final I can't help feeling the producers made sure he was still in the show at that stage simply in order to create some drama out of what essentially was just a slight exageration of terminology.

The Brand has achieved poular acclaim which was probably what he went on for - that and to make connections for the future. He was have been annoying at times and his gob was full of pony, but he made good TV. obviously they had done some background and would have known about the level of his licensing, but it only becomes an issue when faced with the interview.

if he had come clean and immediately admitted that he had expressed it in a way that was misleading, as so often has been done on The Apprentice, he would not have given them the chance to say how full of crap he was - but as a renowned re-seller of pony droppings, he put himself in the firing line.

Having Baggs the Blagg on either side would have detracted from the PM.

good luck to him - the other contestants liked him, which should be our barometer for how much of a knob he really was.

There was a possibility he would have stolen the show and taken the limelight away from the finalists.

.
maybe being pregnant stopped him being in the final.

He is having twin ponies to add to the already large herd of ponies.
