Awwww - I quite like Dermot. Mind you - that was back in his BBLB days. Hate X-Factor so can't stomach watching it. Which doesn't really make any sense since Big Brother is probably worse!

I just can't stand Steve Jones. I'll concede his looks are probably appealing but as soon as he opens his mouth, he's a grade A tit. He thinks he's clever and witty but he's just an idiot. soz.

But then again, it's not like I have good taste in men. I find this and this attractive.

Right, who do we need to badger to get Pam & Jam's AT on youtube? I reeeeeally want to see it.

I have to say I was sad to see her leave. She wasn't my favourite, but I actually thought she was the better dancer in the first part of the show, and I am such a soft lump that I was really touched by their showdance ~ loved how James started it with a nod to their first ever dance on the show, it was a lovely touch.

Gawd, gerra load of me! Far too much appreciating going on here

Ewwwww, get a grip , he totally ripped off Dirty Dancing and did a bit of waltzing, a couple of meh lifts that I could do and called it a showdance.

Alli those showdances were cack, but at least Kara had the excuse that she hurt herself although I still haven't come up with a plausible excuse for Artem.

Lots of interviews told us he was doing Flashdance, so conspiracy number 2 for me this weekend, was he told to change it by the producers? Because no way would Artem choreograph that mess on his own!

See this confuses me. I do not doubt whatsover that George is a smarmy git, but I find him very attractive! I think it's the gray hair

Yeah - I didn't get the connection between flashdance and the showdance.

I was just saying that Lee Pace reminded me facially of George Lamb. I'm confused now. Doesn't take much with me though!

Oh no need to be confused...I just didn't express myself very well. I was just trying to illustrate my confused state at finding Steve unattractive because he was smarmy and yet I find George smarmy and think he's attractive. It was just seeing George's name that prompted that from me

Do you think they were refused permission to use whatever Flashdance music they wanted to use and so he had to choreograph something different really quickly?

She wasn't wearing the outfit she was supposed to either, it was supposed to be a pink leotard wasn't it? So there's just something about that showdance that doesn't feel right to me.

Oh yeah, wasn't it supposed to be a pink catsuit thing?

The bit at the end where Kara lays on the stairs, opens a canon type thing and lets confetti fall on her is done in Flashdance but with water.

Thats the only connection I saw.

G'day!

I am currently in the Whitsundays, 40 degree heat and burnt to a crisp!
Since I won't be on when you lot are up (amateurs!) could someone kindly PM me details on what happened in the final - I know Kara won - which is amazing since no one I want to win ever wins lol!

I hope you're all enjoying the snow. *smug smile*

Because he's rubbish?

Lots of interviews told us he was doing Flashdance, so conspiracy number 2 for me this weekend, was he told to change it by the producers? Because no way would Artem choreograph that mess on his own!
It did have the bucket at the end.

Such an iconic scene.

Kara and Artem were on BBC breakfast earlier and are going to be spending Xmas with her parents.

I think you're painkiller theory was right Alli, she was much more open towards Artem today, looking forward to doing "datey things" and "you're going to have to take care of me" (in regards to the arm)

Finally KitKat, you think you can just swan in here Missy with your burnt boobs and talk of temperatures above 0. Get thee off to Monkseal's blog for a catch-up!

I slightly hate myself for it, but I quite enjoyed Steve Jones on Drop Zone (even if the one team I didn't want to win did win, don't care that they deserved it, anyone who continually bursts into song for no apparent reason is ON MY LIST *grrrrr*

Ooh, there are people here. Goody. Distraction from tedious research.

Am pleased the Artem/Kara thing is going the right direction - for his sake, funnily enough. Bit of a sensitive soul that Russian.

Am fretting about the weather, only because I need to go to London tomorrow to pitch for some work I desperately need and am worried the friggin' trains will not bother to go there because of snow/ice/indifference

Ditto getting over to Hampshire for Christmas No train, no reunion with my beloved cat What? You thought it was about family and turkey did you? Nah. A small, rather portly bronze tabby with diva tendencies

I hope you get to cuddle your diva mog! Looks like my parents won't get down to us on Boxing Day if the weather stays this cold - we have no snow, just the remains of the frozen stuff from 3 weeks ago and treacherous roads and they've had some more up north On the plus side, at least the in-laws are nice and only down the road!

Unappreciating the fact that my School Holiday Theory of Dental Attendance has kicked in and nobody has turned up apart from the first patient who turned up and gave me choccy biccies. Appreciate this patient!

Can't believe there are still people here, great. Sofa hope you get where you need to go, and things go well in London, fingers crossed.

Unappreciating the cold, I can't get warm, and I haven't learnt the art of chic cold weather dressing, just end up looking like a pregnant polar bear, a cold one at that. Going into Cafe Nero for coffee, you need two extra chairs for coats and outerwear, the bloody faff of going to the loo and don't even mention hat hair, mine gets electric and just stands on end.

Unappreciate that the Barrowman is being touted as the next Strictly host, sorry but I couldn't watch him, there is someone out there worse than Brucie - or Vernon Kay, please beeb don't go there.
