I'm having a veggie Christmas this year. Both my kids are veggies and I'm fed up of struggling to get two different main courses cooked at the same time, so I've thrown in the towel. But, most bizarrely, I may have my ex round on Christmas day. His flight to Prague on Monday was cancelled so he's stuck in the UK and his current wife is with her family in Prague. Daughter has invited him round for Christmas dinner and son has grumbled mightily about this. Ex says he's thinking it over and will let us know. I think he thinks I carry a torch for him because I've never remarried, whereas my reasoning is I was married to him for 16 years. Haven't I suffered enough?
Of course, as he has a Brucie-sized ego, he never manages to actually hear this.

The kids can make up their own minds when they're older.
