G'day!
I am currently in the Whitsundays, 40 degree heat and burnt to a crisp! |

Can't believe there are still people here, great. Sofa hope you get where you need to go, and things go well in London, fingers crossed.
Unappreciating the cold, I can't get warm, and I haven't learnt the art of chic cold weather dressing, just end up looking like a pregnant polar bear, a cold one at that. Going into Cafe Nero for coffee, you need two extra chairs for coats and outerwear, the bloody faff of going to the loo and don't even mention hat hair, mine gets electric and just stands on end. Unappreciate that the Barrowman is being touted as the next Strictly host, sorry but I couldn't watch him, there is someone out there worse than Brucie - or Vernon Kay, please beeb don't go there. After my horrible journey home on Saturday, I was lying in bed, waiting to die (I'm a drama queen and I don't really care ) I was flicking channels during the faffing on SCD and saw Kara's ex on The Cube - seriously, Kara, question, what on earth did you ever see in the ****end Joe Swash ![]() He was punching well above his weight, and even if I don't fancy Artem myself (god knows I've tried), if you have traded up to him, well done girl, much the better option. |

I hate to say it, but I'd prefer Tess, she did an okay job stepping in for Bruce last year, and if she's only got to read autocue she'd be okay, and it would cut out the stupid simpering etc

I'm quite warm, but I am wearing two vests and my golf padded trousers.
And although they are rubbish outside in snow, my FUGG boots are keeping my feet very toasty |

I'd prefer Tess too, I like her a lot more in the presenter role than the probing for questions/embarassing bit on the side.

Hope you get to where you need to be sofakat.
Totally unappreciating the cold and the fact the melted/re-frozen/a bit more melted/a bit more frozen remnants of the snow is now covered in a layer of icy sleet and is lethal squared! Isn't Vernon Kay currently baffling the Americans with his wandering accent on something like Strictly Come Ice Dancing With The Stars? |

Yeah, Joe Swash Ugh! Loud, common and tasteless. Real oik, and ugly with it. And that voice - Aaarghhhhhhh!

I want Tess to go away and take her polyester wardrobe with her. I can't listen to her or her stupid mispronunciations. I also hate her 'air hostess hands' and the way she holds those cards as though she's about to flog you a cheap bus booze tour to Fuengirola.

Just not for Strictly, he knows Craig and Bruno too well and I just think with his personality he's going to get inappropriate on the show. He's got very close to it on ITT with Craig a few times. I like that slight edge but I just don't think it's right for Strictly.

![]() Stop throwing Pringles at me! ![]() I like Barrowman, he's very handsome and a little bit naughty and he's Captain Jack of course. I think muscular, handsome gays are just that little bit too threatening for some out there. The british like their gays to be wearing pink and squealing "I'm free" imo. Must just appreciate that I'm off work for 2 weeks now and covered in a snuggly blanket and bagpuss hot water bottle

Oh, I think you're right rossy. I have come across some straight men who do not understand, or really resent, how much women love gorgeous gay men. My ex was the exception, but he was a bit of a gay icon himself (where he worked) and totally comfortable with gay men. Two of them cried at his leaving party

My second choice would be Graham Norton. Yeah, I know. Fag hag. Always have been
Especially when there's no way we can have Tom Bergeron from DWTS ![]() ![]() One of my <many > bugbears with Bruce is the way he talks over the judges and does his own judgey comments and I just wonder if John Barrowman would be similar. I'd just like a host to well ... host ... really

![]() I mean, I've not seen him as a presenter, only on Torchwood, but he's done a lot of presenting work over the past few years. He also has some dancing experience, and God knows he can't be a worse singer than Bruce. So he seems qualified on paper. Is it simply that people don't like him, or what?
