I do not agree. What Chris produced in the final task was a lethal weapon. There is a reason bottles like that are not already on the shelves, and they are certainly not something one would want to see anywhere near intoxicated people. The design of the bottle alone lost him that task in my eyes. Not to mention that his commercial was far worse than Stella's. What's more, the name for Stella's beverage 'Urbon' was simply genius. And don't even get me started on their past performance on the previous tasks.

Stella 100% deserved to beat Chris.

The context doesn't matter; the principle was the same. If you watched the "reason why I fired them" program then that would be clear

Lord Sugar stated that he doesn't like comparisons where essentially you're bringing yourself up by putting someone down. And that's exactly what Stella and Paloma did.

But Stella was lucky to get away with it.

What was so "creative" about Chris's idea? "Umm, okay, it has three ingredients. THREE. And the bottle has three sides. THREE, see? That's creative!"

LOL at all the little girls sad that Human Robot Chris didn't win for his crappy triangle bottle.

Yeah, you guys are right! Chris' product wasn't creative in the slightest. It was bizarre. I guess all those industry experts aren't really experts at all! Why they were praising Chris' brand is an absolute mystery.

It was probably just the way the programme was edited. Stella already seemed to have it in the bag and given the fact that she was hired they probably only showed the best of Chris' feedback to build up tension. Surely the fact that the bottle for his beverage doubled as a highly dangerous weapon was discussed in more detail.

No - Stella started speaking first and when she said she had more passion for the job than he did - he interrupted her and refused to let het her finish....despite being asked twice.

He has done the same thing in the boardroom before with Alex and another one.... he just interrupted and kept droning over the person speaking....very rude, immature and unprofessional.

He would have done far better to let her finish - then pull the rug from under he. As it was - he showed that he had no manners, and Lord Sugar, Karren and Nick were trying to listen to Stella.

I think he was genuinely shocked by Stella, I can half understand why she did it, she was so close just needed to give it a final push, but then at the same time it is not a decent thing to do at all.

Chris was right, she should have focused on her own merits rather than putting him down at her profit. Although she did have a difficult childhood she can't know how much passion he has got and she can hardly give an objective decision about which of them had more.

It was a real shame, she was the outstanding candidate and will push on with her career but it was desperate. The moment she did it I hoped Chris would win- I don't think he could control his reaction- I would have been furious.

Entirely agree.
Really boring.
And she drones on in a nasal twang.
And she's smug.
Nothing to be smug about.

I felt it was the right thing to do, though. If he'd let her get away with casting aspercions like that, the moment would have gone and he would not have been able to counter effectively later. It would have looked weak. By speaking up, he showed he wasn't cowed by her and indeed gave a practical demonstration of the passion he claimed.

What he said was reasonable, too. Ie talk about your own passion all you like, but don't suppose you know about mine.

They were both strong candidates and if I was a boss Id have employed them both. As there can only be one winner Stella just edged it.

he said he didn't want any "steady eddies or cautious carols" but I'd say that's exactly what Stella is .

Chris was far more a risk taker .

btw - what exactly is the job they have to do ? it's never made clear .

I did read today that SAS said there would be a place for Chris somewhere in his organisation.

During her final speech my mother (who's not been watching the series) said she wanted to give Stella a slap. She seemed like a decent person but I think under pressure we saw an ugly side to her personality, whereas Chris kept himself together throughout.

Well, except for the "seriously mate, £&@& off" bit but that was pretty funny

With all due respect to your mother, she can't be that decent if she wants to go slapping random people of the telly.

Summer, up until the final, I liked Stella, but I thought Chris was so articulate in his presentation. I did like the Urbon idea, but it was the bottle that let it down. I also didn't want Stella to win at the end because I saw a side to her that I hadn't seen or appreciated. The way she behaved towards Chris regarding his passion and quite honestly, I was cringing when she kept saying what she wants she gets. That's all very well, but there are different variable in that argument, and showing humility is one of them. For me, wrong decision from LS.

Nope preferred Stella's concept by far, Chris's looked like perfume!

Chris better than Stella? Come off it!

He came up with The Germinator - one of the worst products on The Apprentice. Everyone told him it was a crap idea but he thought it was a winner. He was also on the losing team so many times - at least six if not more. Sugar even said something like "I'm struggling to find a reason to keep you in the process." He fluked it to the final, I reckon. He wasn't a bad candidate, but overall Stella was stronger. Also, I think Nick Hewer was talking out of his rear when he said Chris was the most articulate candidate ever. I sense Mr Hewer mistook a posh Oxbridge type voice as being excessively articulate.

I tuink they were both the best candidates and deserved to be in the final. It said. In the paper yesterday Stella is project manager of a team can't remember doing what now, but if u look from that point of view, she was much better leading a team. Liz didn't do what Chris asked on the most important task. Stella was a much better organiser and it sounds as if she was more suited to the job. I don't know though cos like ppl say they both worked for him for a while. Chris can walk onto any job now though cos of his age

The problem with Chris is he was in the losing team too many times and in the final three 'back in the boardroom' too many times. I think this undermined his credibility as a worthy finalist. Perhaps he was unlucky to be in the losing team so many times but it didn't do his cause any good. I think Sugar always has that at the back of his mind: "should I hire someone that's been on the losing team so many times?"
