Im confused. When Stella was told she won her reaction looked pretty emotional and real to me and was filmed a few months ago, but ive been told that both Stella and Chris didnt know who'd won until this week and so did they film 2 winners reactions and does that mean Stella was acting tonight when she was told in the boardroom...im confused!
So when did they find out?

The BBC then show that ending - all I can say is Stella is a good actress as I really believed her tear at the end when LS told her she had been hired even though she had won nothing at the time.

I must admit I thought exactly the same thing but, as I said in another thread, if they film it just after the stress of the interview boardroom it wouldn't be all that hard for the candidates to imagine that whichever scenario they were playing was a fact and act accordingly.

It's normally 6 months but the series was in the can before the BBC put it back because of the election so it more like 12 months.

You're not shattering any illusions because that's obvious nonsense. Unless one of the candidates seriously cocks up in the 6 month period, then that is only a small factor in the final decision. Clearly the quality and sense of both candidates would mean it would be exceedingly unlikely that they would have messed up while working for LS in that 6 months. Incidentally the shot of Stella shedding a tear with joy, was her being told she had won, unless you're into conspiracy theories.

Why is it nonsense.
Two people work day in day out for you for 6 months doing work for your company vs you watch them doing a presentation on some alcoholic drink (a business you are not even in). So what determines your decision to hire - the real world perhaps and not something on a tv show from last year.?
If the show was as you suggest - Lord Sugar would hire one person on the day the boardroom scenes were shot and stick with it. Not decide 12 months later after they have been working for him for months.
Actually, you're misled. They NEVER film two endings, just the one. People are gullible to believe it. There's a confidentiality agreement which prevents the winner from being leaked (by the press and other ex-contestants). It's just like actors on Coronation Street saying they have no idea if they're going to get killed off until the live episode airs (which is absolute bull because all the following episodes have been filmed).

This is actual FACT.
Its been confirmed by previous finalists. The finalists work for ages for L S before he makes the final decision
and yes 2 responses are filmed because they previously showed Ruth Badgers fake winning video on You're Fired.
If you dont believe MartyM8 go on twitter and ask the previous finalists yourselves.
Last weeks winner was told on Wednesday and they filmed You're fired on Thursday

Saira's quote doesn't say there are two endings filmed. Only the unsupported wikipedia text makes that claim.
I'm not saying it's not possible... but if you're going to shatter any illusions, it's not unreasonable to want to know where you got that info from.

As has been pointed out they previously showed Ruth Badgers fake winning video on You're Fired even though she didn't win - so even the show admitted it.
Clearly some people find it hard to believe the BBC would mislead people.

Yes - that's the official line! But then read the last sentence - why would Sugar decide 12 months later who wins on the basis of a task from 12 months ago when they have been working for him for months. Surely - in the real world - Sugar would be influenced - as Saira Khan noted - in how well they have done working for him for several months.
Obviously I cannot mind read Lord Sugar - but I have a brain!
