Is Nadia really 5-10 (and a half?) Internet says so but I always thought she was short. 5-10 is tall for DOI.....

Otherwise Jennifer and Kerry look the best female bets on build anyway.

Kerry's going to be interesting if her IAC self turns up - would people vote anyway?

Jeff has a record of doing well on all sorts of reality shows and particularly the physical ones.

Very Strange. I think there is a twisted connection between the Three Skating shows. Dancing On Ice, Battle of the Blades, and Skating With the Stars!!! (I think it is just like the Dancing Shows as well)

Kristina left DOI to come back to Canada to participate in the first series of BOTB, She wasn't part of this past series this fall. One of the other people in the first series of BOTB was Jodeyne Higgins. She wasn't in Series 2. Now I know why, as she as well as her husband are participating on DOI!!! Very interesting.

I don't know how many of the new pros are Canadians. I know Jodeyne and Sean are as well as Colin, but not sure about Isabelle. (I know that Sylvain is French from France and not Quebec) But it is interesting to see the trading between shows.

No Fred or Mel?

Anyone know why not?

Fred is doing the American version of it and he's in the final which is today I think.

Mel has been choreographing a show and she's also skating in the pro routines of the USA show (as has Matt G).

They may be right, just found another site saying Laura is 5-4.....

Nadia is popular, determined and a quick learner judging from other shows - but she's only a 1/2 inch shorter than Sharon if that height figure isn't wrong too...

I haven't been watching any of the build up/gossip before now and TBH am shocked by how few of the "celebs" on that list I actually recognise. Surely they could do better than that given the viewing numbers in recent years? And they've certainly had a dramatic cull on the previous regular pros haven't they.

.... ah well - off to do some goolgling then

Watched Corky bomb around a cricket pitch all summer and he is one seriously athletic and fit 39 year old.

I can't believe Kerry Katona's going to be on it this year! It'll be interesting to see how long she lasts on the show...

Just wanted to clear a few things up now the official lineup has been announced!

I have know about the lineup for at least 6 months. Because of my insider info I actually knew before the celebs themselves auditioned and even before the producers knew !

Also I know most of the celebs and pros, have done for ages, in fact most of them are my close personal friends

Angela Rippon & Sean Rice - Known Angela for years. She singed my autograph book 6 years ago. We've been best friends over since! Sean I've never heard of him therefore I'm actually doubting he is a pro skater. I'll try and find out and let you know.

Chloe Madeley & Michael Zenezini - Chloe, know her parents. Lovely couple. So pleased she's with Michael, he's waved and winked at me a few times.

Craig McLachlan & Maria Filippov - Lived on my street for years (Ramsey Street)

Denise Welch & Matt Evers - My friends mum's sister cuts Denise's hair!

Dominic Cork & Alexandra Schauman - Got her signature, bessie friends ever since !

Elen Rivas & Lukasz Rozycki - Taught Elen to dance

Jeff Brazier & Isabelle Gauthier - Taught him to dance

Jennifer Metcalfe & Sylvain Longchambonv - Jennifer wanted me to teach her to dance but I was too busy with all the other up and coming stars like Katona

Johnson Beharry & Jodeyne Higgins - Taught him to fight and save lifes!

Kerry Katona & Daniel Whiston - Judged Katona in comps, know Daniel years. He's like a son to me

Laura Hamilton & Colin Ratushniak - Never actually heard of them

Nadia Sawalha & Mark Hanretty - Taught her to diet!

Sam Attwater & Brianne Delcourt - Related to Sam ! My brothers dog has the same dad as his cousins dog.

Steven Arnold & Nina Ulanova - Saw him on a visit to Granada Studios. Best friends ever since

Vanilla Ice & Katie Stainsby - Known Katie years, often had chats with her.

'Comedy Dave' Vitty & Frankie Poultney - Woke up with Dave in the morning, more times than I care to remember

SO because I know all these celebs/pros, my opinions are greater than yours. ALSO when I'm posting I sometimes type in capital letters like THIS. This is because I need to emphasise words as I think you are all a bit THICK

Also when I post in the early hours of the morning it's because I'm a little bit drunk so please forgive me if my posts don't make sense.

I also choose to believe what media stories I want, depending who it is about. The SHOWMANCES get me really annoyed, I know the people concerned don't seem to have a problems with it (cos it is showbiz after all) but it really gets to me. I know most of these people and am therefore close friends with their families, and despite them not taking it seriously, I certainly do

What an odd post, at times there are overtones sycophancy interspersed by sweeping ignorance. I'm left with two overwhelming feelings, the first is what is the point and the second I don't get it if there was one (intended). On one hand you bodly claim 'SO because I know all these celebs/pros, my opinions are greater than yours' and on the hand you say you don't know people or you've meet them fleetingly, even if you know of someone - it does not qualify your opinion or make it any more valid.

Inebriation is not an excuse for such a silly post, if anything you have only proved yourself to be 'THICK' as you put it. I suggest you do one of two things either stop posting when you are drunk (as you claim - although I have my doubts) or improve your ability to write.

It's called "taking the Michael"

Forgot to add: I will also occasionally (when bothered) become quite elequant and use big words etc in an attempt to make myself seem more superior to other posters. and to appeal to the majority i can just type normal just like this and alter my style to suit cos i is good like that

Agree, it was a very odd post. A bit harsh of Angela Rippon to burn the autograph book

Not to be pedantic but its 'eloquent'. Maybe people should just be themselves and not put on a pretense. If certain words form part of my everyday conversation I'll use them and I wouldn't change that to please anyone, least of all people on a forum. The way a point is conveyed isn't the issue really, what's important is that there is actually a 'point' instead of incoherent ramblings.

Sad that so many of the old pro's aren't coming back, but Dancing On Ice doesn't seem to care about the pro's anyway. Daniel, Matt, Maria and Frankie seem to be the only ones who have any sort of value to them - the others have always seemed completely replaceable.

I'm glad to see Brianne back though. And Alexandra - hopefully her partner turns out better this time.

I completely get you and it made me laugh Those are the reasons I don't come on DS that much, especially during the show! I've said before that those who are "in the know" don't write about it on a forum. It's mostly spectulation, guessing and wishing thinking

Edit: quoted the wrong post LOL
