Apprentice Final Trailer

The trailer BBC showed for The final of the Apprentice ruined the excitement of his final decision for me.

The trailer clearly showed Sugar pointing to the candidate to his right saying 'You're hired' so when it came to the actual decision on the show and I saw Stella sitting to his right, I knew she was going to win.

Why did the BBC have to do this? grrrrr

This has been suggested many, many, times before.

They don't necessarily show him pointing to the winning candidate but, obviously, if he's pointing towards them randomly then 50% of the time (approximately) he's going to be pointing at the winning candidate.

It they always had him pointing to the wrong candidate then everyone would know for certain who'd won.

The only problem is for people like yourself who convince themselves that they know to whom he is pointing. 50% of such people will believe they've known who was going to win since the trailer. And the other 50% will think that the BBC pulled a fast one.

This allegation could be made throughout the series but it's rarely true. Indeed the finger point is often not from the next show. Just a random one.
