Aw hope you feel better soon.

Loved both the books I mentioned!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Poison-Tree-...9848222&sr=1-1

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Beautiful-Ma...9848247&sr=1-1

Also Me before You is awesome, you will love it
Thanks Lizzie, I've added them to my amazon wish list and will watch when the price drops!

Me before you now, as I've just finished the latest Murray MacDonald.

Mum in Law came round with the Call the Midwife trilogy tonight so I'll be reading real books soon!!

Started Me Before You by Jojo Moyes today. Love it already.
I loved this book too. I don't think I have ever cried so much at an ending of a book.

I am reading a few books at the moment, here's most of them
The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde
Kafka on the Shore - Haruki Murakami
Catch 22 - Joseph Heller
Killer - Sara Shepard (Pretty Little Liars #6)
Attachments - Rainbow Rowell
A Storm of Swords - George R R Martin
The Awakening - L J Smith (Vampire Diaries #1)

I left out one because I think it's aimed for 12 year olds so I'm too embarrassed to share

I think the term eclectic tastes was designed with someone like you in mind

Just finished 'The Apprentice' by Tess Gerritsen. Enjoyed 'The Surgeon' and this second outing was very good too.

I did get about halfway through 'Pure' by Julianna Baggott, as recommended on here. it seemed like my kind of book, but I found it a step too weird, to the point it was giving me freaky dreams!! I just couldn't get into it, which is disappointing as I thought it would be right up my street.

Does that mean varied?
I'm only reading the Vampire Diaries one because WH Smith were selling a set of five books for a fiver, and Vampire Diaries was one of them. None of the books look that good really, I'm not too keen on YA dark romance (which is what they all are) but I thought they might be decent and they were cheap

I actually tried watching the TV series of it when it first began, hated it

Just finished 'Twelve Days of Christmas' by Trisha Ashley. Hugely enjoyable. Very obvious chick-lit, but definitely a good festive read.

Just starting A Tiny Bit Marvellous by Dawn French...finding it a bit of a challenge. Not really liking any of the characters at the moment so don't really want to read about them.

Yes, it means VERY varied! I'm not criticising I love the fact that other people read 'classics', teen fiction and modern classics.Makes me feel better about my reading choices

That's the next book lined up for me to read Sid, looks fab, I've been advised waterproof mascara and tissues!!
It's next in line for me too!
I loved this book too. I don't think I have ever cried so much at an ending of a book.
It was a real sob fest that's for sure! Thank god I took Jude's advice about waterproof mascara

Going to read another much talked about book now - Before I Go To Sleep by SJ Watson.

It gets better not to a point of brilliance mind (I'd give the book 3/5) but readable. I admit though the characters are a bit wearing, with the exception of Oscar

Oh are you only just starting Charlie Parker's story? I envy you wish I hadnt read them yet.

Enjoyed BIGTS but ending predictable. Having said that the journey to get there was awesome!
